  1. Started working with my Dad in the school holidays in the mid 1980s, mainly doing refits on Taylor Walker pubs in central London. Didn't get the A level grades I wanted for Uni so trained as a croupier with Brent Walker(long defunct) in sunny Sarfend on Sea, starting as a dealer in 1989 and working up to senior inspector by 1993 when I took a demotion with a 50% pay rise to start work in London at the original Sportsman Club in Tottenham Court Road. Made Inspector again after 6 months and worked in that job until 2002 when I left for a better job with Grosvenor in South Kensington where I stayed until taking redundancy in 2009. I still do fun casino work at parties and weddings etc. Took my chainsaw tickets later that year and have worked as a freelance cutter/ groundie since then, apart from 2 years managing the estate of a Sunday Times rich-lister. I'm also working towards more environmental based work and wildlife surveying.
  2. Mine don't. Manage expectations at first enquiry and all should be good. If they're a pain after that, I've sold out by the time they order again.
  3. Is that the cover story that Vespasian gave you?
  4. I know. I'm so enigmatic, aren't I?
  5. Still not the biggest load of bollocks on the thread.
  6. Nor would I, tbh. I could probably guess. I won't spoil it though.
  7. Probably a snooker ball in a sock, before he could get his tool. Name and number for the guvnor!
  8. Best leave him alone or he'll tell genial Harry Grout.
  9. Nice selection. I use a Crosman 2250xl with a 1-4x24 BSA scope on it(real tack driver) until it gets too cold and then my old Lightning comes out to play. I got hold of a decent NV scope recently which will be going on a Kral bullpup to make it even dodgier to be a rat around the woodpile.
  10. He isn't as mean as he looks, unless you're a rodent.
  11. I use a combination of .22 airguns and this.
  12. I thought it was a Talking Heads track?
  13. Don't forget mask.
  14. That's quite an impressive basal cavity.
  15. How many do you have these days?
  16. Or possibly the 2 tonne battering ram that you should be already safely locked inside?
  17. The easiest answer is a proceeds of crime order, ie if their profits are increased by X then take that away on top of the fine and criminal record.
  18. Not a good idea to advertise that, Matty. Remember Tony Martin.
  19. I have an extra cigar lighter socket in the back of my 4x4 into which I plug a magnetic LED worklight, fixing it on top of the roof to shine over the trailer. Works for me putting the trailer away after dark but it isn't instant.
  20. Sorry, Khriss. Saving all my half quids for Xmas.
  21. Mate, I'm so pleased she's doing well.
  22. Have you tried Osram Night Breaker bulbs? They are a vast improvement on standard halogen bulbs.
