  1. Went to see the first night of Seasick Steve's new UK tour last night at Cambridge Corn Exchange. He and Crazy Dan were on fantastic form as always and Luke the new guy was a great addition. Not only was I lucky enough to bump into him outside the venue, he played my favourite track too.
  2. Bless you, my child.
  3. Thanks Les. So in other words, the ones on offer on Ebay are going to be rather past their sell by date. I have Protector Pro boots for winter so I will just order some new Meindls for next summer.
  4. Any feedback on these at all? I've seen some of these in my size for a reasonable price on Fleabay and wondered what they were like. I'm due to replace a pair of Meindl Woodwalkers as a summer boot and wondered what peoples views on the Haix are.
  5. I bow to your superior knowledge. I had no idea you were such a connoisseur.
  6. Or any from the middle. ?
  7. You're not getting my last one. ?
  8. Mate, that's no way to talk about Stubby.
  9. Also now have ROLO/CSCS.
  10. No substitute for cubic inches.
  11. I've got a Webley Vulcan that would do that easy. ?
  12. Older inks had a good content of Iron in which remains when the rest of the ink degrades. This is why the writing on old documents appears brown/rust coloured rather than blue/black.
  13. Iron or steel reacting to Tannins in wood. Put a new chain on and you'll find it.
  14. If the posts are going to stay wet, Alder is good.
  15. But fair though.
  16. Good job the owner wasn't planning to mill it.
  17. Light Phingered Grabbing?
  18. A traveller in jail? That really is a joke.
  19. I always find it helpful in these situations to first ask myself 'Does it belong to me?'.
  20. Some people just really enjoy their rigging. Perhaps it lubes it up a bit, making it easier to undo?
  21. Brian Blessed reputedly punched a Polar Bear in the face. That any good?
  22. Larcenous, copulating illegitimates.
  23. Can you buy the bargain one and put another glass in it?
  24. That's emmets in Cornwall.
  25. With the argument about how much he will pay now the job is done, that's a moot point. The emails also prove that the OP was contracted to do the work.
