  1. Yes, ginges are very much like vampires. Neither of them can go out in daylight.
  2. Hope that went in the accident book as a near miss.
  3. Because life tastes extra nice after eating bacon.
  4. True
  5. I meant so I could make the team a cup of tea to drink while we lean on the back of my truck and watch you unload.
  6. That's fine mate. Give me a call when you are heading over and I will get the kettle on.
  7. Fixed that for you too, mate.
  8. Lot of good people on here, mate.
  9. Well, your girlfriend did insist on trying it on and who was I to say no?
  10. For which substitute acute nausea and an urge to projectile vomit.
  11. I've met climbers like that before.. ..not knowing how to use a rake, that is.
  12. I misread your title at first, thought you wanted a cassock picked up for you. So you aren't going to a vicars and tarts party then? Having said that, you always used to go as a tart anyway.
  13. I worked at a casino in Bryanston Street at the Marble Arch end of Edgeware Road ('Little Beirut') at the time. I saw the second plane go in just after I had got up from the previous night's shift and when I drove to work that night, the roads were eerily quiet.
  14. Was it a cowboy, Spike, or was it somebody with more 'Captain Hook' type leanings? Do I smell a burning chip pile with subtle top notes of shagged out 360?
  15. I hope not. I bent Dave's ladder as well.
  16. I thought it might have been yours at first. Then I realised there were no MEWP scuffs on it.
  17. It's a fair cop, guv. I borrowed the ladders off you know who and a gypsy stick from Stevie Blair.
  18. What does Mrs Fox do to earn a crust?
  19. I'm getting deja vu. I'm sure you have been told to bugger off before.
  20. Meths is the most effective.
  21. Can't help but wonder if it gave Frederick Forsythe the idea for 'The Eagle has Landed'?
  22. It's not massive, just about 5-6 acres with a very small island and a good stock of carp around the 4-5lb mark. I want to achieve a noticeable increase in dissolved oxygen as well as an attractive feature which should ideally be visible from the house approximately 350m away. Have got the filtration sorted but need to know what sort of flow rate I need. I have seen one with a flow rate of 20,00 litres per hour which looks promising.
  23. Ideally, I would like a central high jet with a rose around it. Current is no problem as we have just run a large armoured cable to the boat house so can put a fused spur from that.
