  1. Oooh, get you, Egon bleedin' Ronay. I take you aren't one of the Paleo diet lot then, Stevie?
  2. I laugh at crap jobs and I don't even do tree work anymore.
  3. As long as you don't stray from the topic, all will be fine.
  4. He didn't mean you.
  5. I haven't yet managed to stump Stanton Hope's with a request for some unusual Husky parts.
  6. I've got a late model (2010) Denver Max and that is only rated for 3 tonnes.
  7. Hope you get a result on this, Matty.
  8. Especially if you are planning on making gunpowder.
  9. Was it on the Employment section?
  10. Also a possible issue of not being able to remove the helmet in the case of a spinal injury.
  11. Slightly different from 'tipping your crap on their drive' then. I have a friend who had some success with a nice load of manure tipped on a late payer's driveway. They paid up before the second load that they 'had ordered' was delivered to their business address.
  12. Not when you get done for fly-tipping, it won't.
  13. Traded a day grounding for a nearly brand new Husky 236. Same guy gave me a very decent old MS260 as a finder's fee for a nice big arb job. Both were very much appreciated.
  14. I've bought saws off of eBay, mostly ok but one bad. I got a full refund through PayPal for the bad one as the vendor's description of it had been completely misleading, describing a saw that was fine apart from a broken starter recoil spring rather than the seized piece of scrap that it was. He made a big fuss, saying it was described as spares or repair, but he must have known he was in the wrong as he never asked for it back after the refund.
  15. I was thinking that too.
  16. Of course we are all equal. Just some more than others.
  17. I use the Husky ground helmet with Sordin chipper ear defenders.
  18. There was a guy called Charlie Harrison on the Arbtalk Facebook group who had a load of Yew timber he wanted to offload. I think he was up near Birmingham.
  19. I've seen an olive green husky before but never a lime green one.
  20. Thanks for the link.
  21. Can you still get actual Creosote anymore or am I doomed to using a modern alternative?
  22. I thought we could expand the subject of the thread a bit so here's my bell-end.
  23. The firm I work for had a different opinion from HR. Their view was that if it is during work hours then an employer is legitimately entitled to know where their vehicle and employee are. Outside of working hours is a different matter. Looks like it's one of those that will need testing in court before a definite decision is given. Easiest way to limit the usage is stop your employee using the vehicle outside of work.
  24. It's a particular interest of mine. I was a lead shop steward in my old trade for some years.
