  1. What did I come on here for again?
  2. If they're in the wrong and still go to court, odds on they won't pay up in time
  3. Firstly, don't do anything extreme or rash.Invoice giving a reasonable time to pay sent Royal Mail signed for, include the information that your next move will be Small Claims Court which, assuming you are successful, gets you your money and them a CCJ. If they tend to sail close to the wind with cash flow, the implications to their credit rating of a CCJ should see them paying up if they are in the wrong.
  4. I got the impression he was trying a new approach which could use a certain amount of fine tuning.
  5. I'm not up on the lyrics of the National Anthem (probably like a lot of the population) but I thought it was solely concerned with the subject of the ruling monarch rather than honouring the fallen. I think this is just another example of the press having a go at any opposition to the old boys club. It's curious how Corbyn is always referrred to as being the left wing leader of the opposition but you never hear Cameron described as the right wing PM. Corbyn turned up to the ceremony, stood in respectful silence and IMO did nothing to show disrespect to the veterans of and those who were lost in the Battle of Britain. People need to concentrate on the politics rather than the mud slinging.
  6. Who says he hasn't? We just don't know.
  7. And yet enough of them voted to return him as their MP. How odd!
  8. I have. I remember it well. It was 2 years ago when I first heard the rustling in the bushes next to me.......................
  9. Had exactly the same with the Chelmsford branch of the chain of tyre fitters named after a type of motor racing. They tried to tell my partner that her car needed new rear discs and pads when it was in for a new set of tyres. We already had it booked in for a service and front pads with the guy who looks after her car so he took a look. He said there was absolutely no need to change them and no reason to think there was either.
  10. Blimey. you must have been excited.
  11. Aspirin (Salycilic acid)
  12. Heroin is effective but it's also very moreish.
  13. It's also probably a good idea to not gob off about your plans to kill a burglar with an unlicensed and illegally held fire arm before the fact.
  14. I wouldn't recommend anybody used Diclofenac. The stuff is absolute poison and has a list of side effects as long as your arm and then some. My father was prescribed it and it caused him to lose so much weight and have such bad gastric trouble that we were concerned he had Bowel cancer. He had always looked very young and pretty fit for his age but over a few months he turned into an old man.It wasn't until he went private for a colonoscopy that we discovered the reason. After giving him the all clear, the consultant asked him a few questions and, as soon as Dad said he was prescribed Diclofenac, told him that was what it was causing the alarming symptoms. Pity his GP wasn't as clued up.
  15. Anyway, all the OP can be accused of is having insufficient lighting at his yard.
  16. I hope he wasn't too badly hurt to fall down the stairs when he got booked in.
  17. I thought the intelligent apes came down from the trees?
  18. Close. It was Chicken Orinoco, a best forgotten feature on the Specials board in Nando's.
  19. Interesting variation on a theme in Southend on Sea. Phone calls to company are being intercepted by conmen (From Echo)
  20. It's his problem. Walk away and don't make the mistake of making it yours.
  21. Unless they are ill or retiring, not many people want to sell a good business.
