  1. Let's hope none of them are clever enough to work out how to Google things.
  2. Nice to know I wasn't the only one thinking it.
  3. Isuzu Trooper SWB Commercial. Best van I have had, all your gear locked away in the back, plenty of grunt for towing and plated for 3.3 tonnes.
  4. Even nostalgia's not as good as it used to be, Rob.
  5. I have a 142e with a slight seize in the shed. Interested?
  6. Mmmm, very avante garde.
  7. There is some good stuff on Radio 4 still but they are all tried and tested rather than new stuff.
  8. You can do a Small Claims Court application yourself. Just send a reminder for payment stating that failure to pay will result in you taking them to court for it with a time limit that you will find on the website. Stick to what the website tells you and don't forget that you are allowed to claim reasonable expenses relevant to your claim ie the cost of application, postage and phone calls etc.
  9. Make sure your payment terms are clear in your T&Cs when you give a written quote and apply them firmly. You can state that payments made late will be subject to a %age increase (as long as it is reasonable). At least that way, if they make you wait then it costs them.
  10. I had similar issues with Kumhos fitted to an Isuzu Rodeo. The fronts deformed after less than 20,000 miles. Isuzu told us that they don't recommend fitting them to their trucks.
  11. Here you go. Combination NATO Trailer Towing Hitch c/w 50mm Tow Ball 3000kg | eBay
  12. Used to have a hitch on the back of an Isuzu which had a standard ball hitch and a jaw which closed over the top of it to use a Sankey trailer NATO hitch. I believe it came off of Ebay a couple of years ago.
  13. Graham's a very nice chap. Did he have the full battle kit on or was it a 'dress down' day?
  14. Ditto. Called it off at 06.45 this morning.
  15. Get the kids to earn their keep and teach them a little social history at the same time, mate,
  16. Only if there is a body to find.
  17. Try that in the pub next time somebody is disturbing your lunch, Jon
  18. Hi matelot, I don't just read the headlines. Perhaps if you read the rest you will see where I pulled the quote from?
  19. 'Christian Dustmann, the centre’s director and a co-author of the study, said: “Immigration to the UK since 2000 has been of substantial net fiscal benefit, with immigrants contributing more than they have received in benefits and transfers.'
  20. You and me both.Goodnight (entirely sincerely).
  21. My take on it was that immigration has an overall beneficial effect on the country if you take into account the skew of immigrant's children being counted as British, not immigrants.
  22. Jon, you have a natural ability to put a smile on many faces. Don't try to analyse it or you will kill it.
  23. It means that you lack the common sense that you laid claim to in a post(one of several) where you were being offensive and aggressive to people who dared to disagree with your opinions. My view of you has less to do with your grasp of grammar and spelling(which I simply mentioned as an example that perhaps a little reality check was needed in your claim to intellectual superiority over your fellow forum members) than it does with your crashing arrogance and astounding ability to take all the information to come to a conclusion that is 180 degrees out.
