  3. well i know the feeling you ask for qualified experienced climbers to come and help out you pay travelling up front you put them up in your luxury caravan feed n water em. treat em well and you end up stopping em cause they cant do work and are dangerous ...... yes paul as combined tree services says we now ring round local people n check references so it goes both ways and i wont get done again!   14. thanks steve, wondered if an old beet feeder bucket with auger and chopper would also do or would bark block up?? thanks joy
  15. anyone know of something that will chop bark up apart from a big trommel type screen, that we can put bark off our firewood logs into that will come out the other side in smaller pieces that we could market as playbark/garden bark mulch?

  18. wood burnt will go down 100to1 i.e 100 cube of wood will give just 1 cube of ash its that efficient. but again get a proper supplier cut now store correctly let the wind season it wood ready in months not years Sent from my GT-I8160 using Tapatalk 2
  19. id get a new supplier who can give you a proper log, m/c measured from the split surface as should be done as standard practice.
  20. hi, we dont do kiln dried but can get sorted from now and our timber will be seasoned by then. hardwood and softwood can sort in whatever colour nets you want pm me if interested. or ring - out tomorrow but anytime after - joy on 07971 220186

  25. looks a bit like horse chestnut in second pic? but the other pics look fibrous bark like a softwood? can we see growth rings and better pic of bark head on Sent from my GT-I8160 using Tapatalk 2
