  14. we too find selling mixed loads are our best sellers, cheaper for the customer and spins out our suppy of hardwood its the way to go, softwood is not a dirty word! joy
  15. alot of new firewood guys who started up a few years ago are now thinking the same as what weve always said - its bloody hard work and if you think your going to make a quick buck think again - its not easy

  19. anyone got any in yet for winter. going to buy a few bulk bags for our yard while prices reasonable . last years price i think was about 85 a bulk bag went up to 150 when winter came. any body found out what prices are this year or purchased any yet? joy heard it may be a bad winter again??   21. is he referring to infected trees? phytophera larch or else whats sepa??? arb "waste" is a term that i dont think anyone would accept. we all use the term arb arisings. chip i believe heats up high enough to kill pathogens and as for timber i cant see a problem. can woody give us a definative quote where he is getting this info. he may have genuinely misread or misinterprited something hes read before we all jump down his throat. lets just get some clarity before finger pointing from one side or another joy Sent from my GT-I8160 using Tapatalk 2

  25. sounds familiar its only a rare few who have returned a favour like that who we have treated like you say we buy brekkies, xmas parties fully paid for apf visits etc but lads have just taken n not really appreciated. lads weve got now often buy us brekkies. but i know about paying out to help em out.... thing is i dont think they think where that money really comes from.... our pockets joy we still have bonuses. xmas parties paid nights out for lads birthdays as i feel we share our profits with them we still do this its how we try to keep good staff Sent from my GT-I8160 using Tapatalk 2
