  1. Its only a year old then at least the doors have not fallen off yet. I dont think people dislike Landrovers just the Landrover enthusiasts
  2. It was a total waste of time 20 years ago surprised they bother printing it with the internet. Yp, Thompson straight in the recycle bin.
  3. Anyone else knocked it on the head looking for loads of this so I can make you kindling
  4. Yes I tend to fold the seats down open the ash tray and borrow someone elses When did you say you were getting another one Dean
  5. £13 a tonne and you can pick through it might be up my self But I still dont do logs
  6. True beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You can get an mot on a tr6 though just imagine the look on his face when he comes to test that crane.
  7. I am thinking jcb 525 tele 1986 £2500 would be much better and you wont get wet.
  8. The 3.1 trooper was a great truck but they let themselves down big time when they made the 3.0 in 1998. I think the rodeo has put them back up there with the best. I am a die hard Toyota fan but I would have a Rodeo or hilux but nothing else.
  9. I think it stops people panic buying every time they talk about strikes.
  10. Could be the best decision you ever make. If I were you and you have £600 for a powered splitter make contact with a few tree surgeons and get some arb arisings. kick some wood about and get a feel for it and if you like it build it up.
  11. The 80 series was thought to be the best. LC 100 I feel is good, the new one oh dear sounds like they may have problems. All modern cars have problems, every thing is very electronic and they are trying to build them as cheap as possible but so they still get through warranty. The lc100 has a few known problems but the disco 3 has reams of problems and recalls. Every 4x4 has possible problems, but there is a few problems, then there is towing a trailer to pick up the bits as they fall off problems.
  12. A narrow chain probably helps with the vibes as well. I think mine came with the big 3/8 chain and a 20 in bar. The vibes from the chain are shocking there is no antivib on them at all. Beast of a saw though once you had one of these the rest feel like toys but then they are about £400
  13. I have dozens of belts like this on the shelf. If anyone has this problem when in hampshire give me a shout. If you have the size I will have a look.
  14. Yes not sure how much. we have a couple of bulk bags been through a kiln very soft and floppy dont hold their shape well at all now.
  15. I bought a stihl mse 220 . Plenty of power to run its 16" bar. I miss the smooth clutch you get on a petrol and there are no anti vibs which is a killer even after 20 mins. Not for hrs of logging ok a if you really must but normally pic up the ms260 instead.
  16. Probably something to do with the idiot in america that threw petrol on his barbeque at a show recently and burnt out 60 cars. You cant educate pork but you can make up tighter legislation. The general public are stupid enough to refill a petrol generator while its running so thats put the kybosh on that.
  17. Nooooo I end my auctions at 11.15pm on fridays to get rid of the crap
  18. Management make the rules but often its the employees that enforce them with such glee. Same thing with people that enforce H&S in large firms there bored and a bit of confrontation passes their day. As been said above pick a garage run by asians I often fill loads of 20 litre jerry cans with diesel and petrol never had a problem.
  19. They stick mine through the arc but clean the wheels by hand and disarm something on the car wash. When you jet wash an i10 then a cruiser you realise how big they are.
  20. Useful info I did wonder. I put a bag of green poplar kindling in the tunnel during the heat wave and it was dry in 10 days. I wondered if we could dry pallets of kindling through the winter thinking may have to fit a fan to move some air.
  21. Went from a navarra to the lc parking the lc is easier better steering lock.
  22. I have been a moderator for the last 10 mins apparently
