  1. Loads in stock just a few pics
  2. Hi everyone hope your all enjoying the weather and not getting too burnt in the trees . Thousands of bags of top quality kindling in stock as always . Clean unused joinery of cuts bone dry and dust free phone or email for details 07801 953338
  3. I have the same solinoid on my bobcat Peugeot engine first one lasted 15 years now I seem to need a new one every few years I think I get them from hella. The other thing to do and this is even more important on the later td5 is don't run around on empty all the time as the fuel gets hotter as it passes through the engine and empty tank heats up more and quicker than a full one
  4. Had an 80 series LC about year 2000 but actually found front axle unreliable compared to my current 100 series. Had a low mileage 3 year old disco 4 one of the nicest vehicle I have owned but zero reliability will never be on my list in future. i would say an 04-06 year 100 series LC would be your best bet. 04 onwards they got the better dash and 5 speed auto box. Make sure it's rust free some go to rot others are perfect. If you get one with hydraulic active suspension when it breaks spend £1500 and put it back on coils. rated for towing 3.5 tonnes but 4.5 tonnes in other countries so up to the job. Strong engine for towing and 25 mpg when solo. Plenty of leg head and arm room. pattern parts are a lot more available now as well
  5. Are you buying cheap pattern part solinoids. Maybe Oem quality part or genuine from landrover. The other thing to check is the alternator is not over charging because high voltage may burn them out.
  6. Even with high demand and cold weather on the way we have kept up with demand and have good stock if anyone needs pallets of bone dry kindling.
  7. I find the big outlets retail at about £1 a kilo unless it's been mild then they drop it to 80 p a kilo to shift it. We wholesale a 3.7 kilo net and our customers sell at £3-£4 a net
  8. We can supply 4 kg bags 40 x 50 monofilament green or red. Can deliver 600 nets but need to work a price to hay on wye. Or 126 nets on a pallet roughly £50 a pallet plus vat
  9. Kindling flying out this year. Still loads innstock if anyone needs it. 40x50 nets £1.70 + vat can net wrap 126 to a pallet. Red or green monofilament nets.
  10. Good busy start to the season
  11. We do 40 x50 nets not sure where you are
  12. We only have about 2.5 megs coming down and half a meg going up. I am sure your site is fine but every task takes a second or two which does not sound much but it runs about the speed of dial up years ago. I don't get on here much I just can't get the time and struggle to navigate the new site. We should get fibre in the next year so will be back with avengence
  13. I test drove the van version. Nice high position a little noise onntransmission but won't notice on a pick up. The thing I never tried was the all important push a heavy traile up a drive gravel or tarmac. Not sure how the axles will wind up or if they will start churning things up.
  14. Thank you for your post Mistajay, slippymurphy and cgs hopefully you should all have a private message ( pm ) regards Steve
  15. Hi if you are collecting 50 bags is minimum but to make it worth while on a pallet you want as much as you can get on as it's the same price. We are getting 126 bags on a pallet currently but not sure if any have gone by freight yet. Or we can send 105 bags. The freightbon a pallet of kindling costs £50 + vat to most areas but not remote or highlands.
  16. Hopefully everyone should have a pm. If not let me know and I will try again
  17. Thank you Richy 👍🏻
  18. Kindling made from new downgraded pine construction timber. 40 x 50 green or orange monofilament nets neatly filled weighing 3.5-4.5 kg 126 nets netwrapped to a pallet cost of freight to most places £50 + vat We currently have enough raw material in stock for 3 years and produce all through the winter so never run out.
  19. Had my bobcat 17 years . Versatile and reliable . I am getting a bit old for all the clambering in and out. You can avoid a lot of damage on grass by taking wide sweeps and teasing it around corners or 3 point turns.
  20. AA still cover our 3.5 tonne with 3.5 tonne hooked on the back but that's because we have been with them since 1999. I did read about 10 years ago they won't do it for new members.
  21. Bfgs are nice and thick unlike a lot of other brands as I found to my cost when buying second hand trucks. It was never long before they were on bfg mt' s they well worth the extra £20 each all day long.
  22. I never seen one before I don't think they made many of them. Imagine the neck injuries on rough ground :burnout:
  23. I think I may have spotted a major flaw in the design
  24. Have been looking at the same thing over the last couple of weeks. I notice no one has mentioned the west coast of France . We like beaches and mountain bikes would this area be suitable ? Possibly taking a new sprinter tl9 minibus could be expensive on the ferry but advantages are full aircon , high driving position and bikes and kit inside. Lots of really useful info on here with places I never heard of and would never think to visit reading with interest . Eventually I might drive to Crete to visit my father but much to see closer to home first.
  25. If it was me I would commit to a day that way both sides will have a better idea of what's achievable with the kit available. Also some oak can be a real pain to split especially is seasoned a while. If it's hard going at least your only committed to a day and can alter price to reflect work involved.
