  3. That WILL go sour pretty quick i reckon... I agree with the previous
  4. CSCS,PTS,UA1 you need them as a minimum for those lines of work. I used to work for treeclear Uk on the 18 inch and 20 inch chippers and they do big site clearance and large powerline stuff. Check out the website
  5. Dry your bunnys out and grind em up and sell em as fertiliser to gardeners Jammy!!! Loadsa gun talk... As long as it dies when you hit it and it dont bust the bank every time you buy more ammo is all im bothered about. As for taking roe with .223 i was knocking roe down in Belgium in 2002/03 all day and night with a .222 with good results. I use .17 for rabbits up here.
  6. I am having quite a few problems with rhizophera in my potted fraser nurserys this year. I spray with a fungicide called Delsene 50 flow on a regular basis but it dos'nt seem to be doing much anymore. Has it built up a tolerance to this particular fungicide? is that possible? I reckon Hama is the man for this... Thoughts anyone?
  7. Want one... Nice chopper Steve...
  8. Welcome to the mad house
  9. Welcome aboard... If you keep reading through the posts you'll soon pick up on who's talking about what. Happy reading!
  10. On the button there Mark.
  11. I ran huskys in Finland for a while and while i cant deny they are a solid tool i never really got the feel for em. I have always bought and used Stihl saws where possible, ive owned quite a few and ive had very few problems with them considering the abuse they used to get . I have been thinning out some decent sized beech and sycs in one of our woodllands today with my new 46 and it just loves to cut...
  12. Ordered my 46 at 12.30pm on tuesday and it was here in southwest Scotland at 1.45pm today. Very helpful and good service, cheers Justin. Just ran some rings off on some solid old oak and hornbeam that ive got and it ripped thrugh it proper style...
  13. My pile of firewood is positivley kacking its pants...
  14. I ran i 46 on a 24 bar YEARS ago and i liked it, so im looking forward to getting my paws on this...
  15. Just treated myself to a 46 with a 20 inch bar and loads of bits from jonesie , cheers Justin. My 39 lives on the farm permantly now so this is my new fire wood saw, anybody run a 46 on a 20 bar? Thoughts... Cheers
  16. Our thoughts are with you and yours Nick.
  17. Agree with you, get your class II. Helped me out no end.
  18. As mentioned before, 20 inch on the 66 is cracking, thats all i used for 2 months on a big site clearance last year... I had arms like popeye when we were finished.
  19. A Good groundy should be able to fell any tree put in front of him, be good on the ropes- speed lining, lowering etc, have a towing license, know chipper and how to maintain it and be good with the customers. £100-£120 for an experienced old hand... £60-£80 for someone who is starting out. It also depends if your north or south...
  20. Sorry, should have said that i wanted originals that come with saws... My bad
  21. instruction/owners, i have a big old collection of husky, stihl and dolmars.
  22. Anybody got any old Stihl manuals for 44,46,65,84 and 88 knocking about? Will pay Cheers
  23. My sentiments exactly mate...
