On Friday those who made the effort of getting to the yard got sent home on full pay. Officially we were on emergency call out, but never got any calls.

Yes good point - i suppose it all comes down to how busy you are. If you have a few months booked up then yeh, bosh it out in a day, move on to the next....

So if it's £8k then that's 8 days for a team of four, but you get to keep all the money, rather than half going to road closure/crane etc... Do you recon it's do-able in 8 days?

Somehow got to work, did 30 mins logs in the dry, then told to go home and be on stand by for any Western Power emergency call outs. Happy days This is the road to my house, must be 5/6inches and upto 12 in the drifts!

Hi Jon - It's snowing loads back home, but here in somerset it's been lovely and sunny! I don't want the snow, the road i live down is bad enough in the dry!

Don't use silicone. The industry standard caravan and motorhome sealant is Sikaflex. Your local caravan/motorhome dealer will have some or know where to get it.
