  1. Check this out, great tune and awesome video... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75oT42sH-iE]Beta Band - Squares - YouTube[/ame]
  2. You should be fine with the RFS course mate. It's the first step most take for the theory side of Arb (if they haven't done an NC or ND at college). I could probably do the Tech Cert if i didn't have so many other commitments going on this year, should just about fit in time for the RFS.
  3. I don't think stihl would dare bring out a bad ms461 - surely they have learnt from the 201t balls up?! It's supposed to be just as good/better at cutting, and with much better anti vibes (the only downside of the ms460), according to the american forums... Can you do without a big saw for 6months+ is the question? (the other alternative is getting a 576xp or 372xp)
  4. I thought as much, I do have a level 2 qualification and 4 years experience however, so should be fine with the RFS (or ABC as it's called now). I'll do the RFS/ABC this year, then 2 or 3 years down the line do the Tech Cert.
  5. Nice. You've upgraded quite alot from a few years ago when you just had the non tipping pickup (IIRC).
  6. Hi mate, try Dan Curtis. Based in Suffolk. Great climber. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/employment/43481-freelance-climber-available-east-anglia.html
  7. I'd also like to know any responses. My options are either RFS online, RFS with one evening a week at local college (3pm-7pm so getting away from work could be tricky). But i might just go straight into the AA Tech Cert. Thoughts? (sorry for thread hijack)
  8. Take it right back down to form a proper pollard, it may end up being a great old pollard in the future. The before shot is just awful. As said, neither a pollard or reduction, just a crime against trees!
  9. A valid point... but! If you are employed by a company, you are representing them whether you are at work or out of work.
  10. £336 seems reasonable spread over two teams + 4x4/stumpy. All depends what you're bringing in, though.
  11. I don't like slogan type t-shirts, so not for me. Some will love it though. The t in 'hot' isn't clear and the climber doesn't look even remotely human. (I think it would be better without the writing tbh)
  12. Yeh that was a good one I would of text the show but conveniently the piece was right at the end of his time slot so it wouldn't have been read out....
  13. We managed to listen to it on the way to a job. Speechless! What a poorly researched programme - Jeremy actually said "I would say wear swimming trunks " . And someone phoned in saying he put up a scaffold tower up an 80ft tree over hanging powerlines . And no one described what ppe should be used. Not once! For those who didn't catch it, it was on 15 mins before the end. Iplayer should have it up later. Sent from my GT-S5839i using Tapatalk 2

  16. At least i don't have to eat my HiFlex now -phew! Goodnight.
  17. Yeh you need to open a dispute ASAP after reasonable time has passed, but before the time limit
  18. You will with paypal protection. But they will still have your money, the bar stewards.
  19. 1 Minute later... Make your mind up mate
  20. Exactly - classic fraud! Make the expected delivery a few weeks so when you realise you've been had, they are in bloody mexico sipping cocktails!
  21. anyone who buys some of the 95% off deals from there - if you receive the goods i will eat my HiFlex!!!!
  22. No mate, look at his other lisitngs - a brand new Playstation Vita with call of duty for £12
  23. 0 feedback, selling goods worth £200 for £12  As if people fall for this! Report to ebay.
  24. Looking forward to demoing one at a show this year - hopefully with some hardwood to cut through.
