  1. I agree with andy on the £65 (i guess because we are from the same area - could be different oop north) The sad thing is, I know a really good groundy that is on that wage, but has cs38,39, lantra stump grinder/chipper, chapter 8, towing licence, 5 years exp. Chances are he might go up to 70/75 a day in the future, but deserves more.
  2. ah, sweet!
  3. Sounds interesting steve - not gonna lie and say i'm 100% sure about it, but i'll get it! Will it be as efficient as tapatalk to load the forum when you have rubbish countryside signal?
  4. I would not like to see her bearded squid!
  5. yes!
  6. the winner of each prize? think you might have to wait til afterwards. if your name comes up i'll message you
  7. Ten minutes lads All aboard!
  8. 250 views and no offers? Last chance, if i don't have any other offers by tomorrow i'll have to sell it elsewhere. Cheers
  9. ahem..... http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/lounge/52106-samsung-galaxy-s3-sale.html
  10. You'll need to put it in the classifieds mate. threads will be nuked in a minute...
  11. Crossed wires is seems. You said "My point is that if one can get we should all be able to get! Fairness and equality and all that! But this is not how it is!" I thought you had a job but wanted the same funding entitlement to someone on jobseekers. I didn't realise you were signing on.
  12. So if you are say an IT engineer earning £40k a year wanting to get in arb, you should get the same funding as someone who has been signing on for 6 months and really struggling to find work as they have no qualifications?
  13. You could do a bit of high speed heli-logging if it's a harrier! Cut down a tree in scotland, get it delivered to the south coast in less than an hour
  14. Yes but look at it this way. Job centre pays for £500 cs30/31 course Person gets a job from it, therefore not getting £300 a month jobseekers allowance anymore + pays around £200 a month income tax & NI (on £60/day wage) Or would you, as a tax payer, rather pay another £3500 if they continue to sign on for the next year? (not forgetting the £2500 in lost income tax & NI contributions)
  15. Do you know this for certain? As in did you or a friend get funding for nptc courses? I know they do stuff like forklift training if you are out of work for a long time.
  16. Spruce dismantle from today. Going back for the stick tomorrow.
  17. So i downloaded the torrent and 5 minutes in i got really really bored. Your journey starts at your house and you have to walk about a mile to the first job....really, really slowly. I felled one tree with a Stihl saw of some kind, using a really funny technique - it looked promising, the gob shape was cut, but the wedge didn't come out, probably because he used half the bar the cut the tree, despite it being bar sized. He then went on to do a similar half bar length plunge into the back cut which met up with the gob cuts, so no hinge, even if he got the gob right in the first place, which he didn't. The tree fell and didn't kill him and the limbs cut themselves off (well, it said 'limbing' on the screen, so that must of scared them into popping off) How on earth can they charge £14.99 for this (on game.co.uk) ?
  18. I'm now downloading it (for free of course - wouldn't pay for this!) I'll report back...
  19. Some friends live at Lynford cross roads, i'll ask them to keep an eye out. I can see how it could get lost round there, quite remote and ALOT of forest in all directions.
  20. I think you should do the leg work mate Call him.... Let me google that for you
  21. Just in case gravity decides to change direction??
  22. i've dropped you a pm albere
  23. Appreciate the offer mate, but looking to fund a laptop at the moment. iphone 4's are going for around £200 second hand, so perhaps you could sell it, then buy mine I thought i'd offer it cheaper for arbtalkers and with a donation to the charity here before trying elsewhere. on Amazon the cheapest used s3 is £320 which has scratches! Amazon.co.uk: Buying Choices: Samsung Galaxy SIII UK Sim Free Unlocked Smartphone - 16GB - Pebble Blue
  24. Hope you don't mind me posting it here instead of classifieds steve... I will give 10% of the sale to the childrens trust (donation, not for raffle tickets). 2 Months old 16gb Pebble Blue Vodafone (easily unlocked) Boxed with all original accessories Perfect condition - comes with genuine slimline s3 case that covers the screen. (see bottom image) I am gutted to sell it, but i need a new laptop as mine decided to self destruct In short, it is THE best smart phone currently on the market. A pleasure to use. £270 including next day special delivery - I'll round up the donation to £30 Apologies for stock images - i'll get my own up asap.
  25. I start the job on 14th Jan so will see you once I've settled in. Sent from my GT-S5839i using Tapatalk 2
