  7. whilst working in west suffolk for only a few days we saw 4 different companies driving around. if you search 'tree surgeons' within 25 miles of my postcode on yell.com, you get about 30-40 results! i wonder what the figures are for newly qualified vs. recently retired over the last few years....

  17. Location: radstock ......... look up all the local companies on yell.com (type in 'tree surgeons' and within so many miles of your postcode). give them a call, tell them you are newly qualified and looking for experience. ask them to keep your details if they don't have anything to offer at the moment. good luck with the search
  18. next week from tuesday onwards and the following monday i have free. will travel anywhere in suffolk, east cambs, north essex, south norfolk. have all tickets but willing to do any jobs no matter how rubbish. i will also need work on odd days here and there as i often only have 2 or 3 days a week working. self employed, driving licence, full climbing kit and saw. thanks.
  19. i've recently bought a 10m second line and finding it much better. you can put it in a small ropebag on your harness and it doesn't get in the way.

  21. thanks guys.
  22. does anyone know the width of the cocoon? tried the art site and pdf manual but no luck. going to make my own rope guide and need to see if it will fit through a ring i have.
