    It's not always the case but I do feel a good few years of the practical side of tree work and the experience that it brings is more relevant at first. Not always possible though Sent from my Galaxy S2

    Chestnuts are generally suffering everywhere, the HCBC can kill a tree off in a couple of years and doesn't necessarily show symptoms year on year. Cameraria ohridella isn't helping either but that alone won't kill the tree. If it's as you say it is the outcome doesn't look good but without being there I'm not going to say 100% that it is HCBC.     i got my airstreams from at treeworker and they've lasted me nearly 2 years, could do with re-soling but the boot is fine and still comfy as owt sorry to hear your having troubles

    how can you arrange the krabs differently to offset the HC? the only different way i can see is the pulley wheel facing you as how i used to use it instead of facing away how i use it now? unless you put the krabs in the top and middle instead of top and bottom?
