  1. no worries, got a fortnight yet before i hand everything in
  2. Argh..!! i had collected some leaves from a small (or what i thought was) Quercus suber Unfortunately it have now re-ID'd the tree and it wasn't Q. suber but Q. x hispanica.... DOH!! So, i am in need of at least 4 leaves from a cork oak, would anyone be able to get some or point out the loaction of one in the North west, preferably West Lancashire or Salford ish area? Pleeeeaase:biggrin:

  16. yes, so with retrievable you can "move and or recover" your ReDi without disturbing your main anchor. And recoverable is when you pull out your main anchor and The ReDi is also "recovered" Is that right:confused1:
  17. i need to learn me some new rope trickery:thumbup: So whats the difference between the recoverable and the retrievable? I can see the difference in the pics but the words basically mean both ReDi's are able to "be recovered or retrieved" from distance? Is that right? Or do you need to go back to it to get it??

Yup the lack of terminal leaflet got me! thats why when ID'ing I always ask for as much detail as possible, the more info the better chance of getting a positive ID:biggrin: Nice one Scott, good images, and I'll be looking into that one in your front garden.   21. I don't 100% from those photos but as the leaves look "glossier" in this picture and elliptic in outline I'd thought I'd stump with Q. ellipsoidalis. I may be wrong yet:lol:, its always hard ID'ing from one our two pics alone Sent from Rob's GalaxySII
