  3. Ok my guesses are: Oak 1 - Quercus macrolepis Oak 2 - Quercus cerris Oak 3 - Quercus robur (or at least a hybrid between Q. robur and Q. petraea) Oak 4 - Quercus palustris (or possibly Q. ellipsodalis) Scott i'll have a look at yours now:biggrin:

  6. What if it were to save a champion tree perhaps, but would the killing of everything be detrimental anyway? Also, I'm no molecular biologist our geneticist but, would it be possible to create/induce an allelopathic reaction in tress that deal with (kill) the bad guy fungs? Sent from Rob's GalaxySII

  9. Urrrgh cresto! that was my first ever harness and it wasn't good! Petzl sequoia all the way, but it is worth noting that the weaver eventually moulds to your shape to make it comfy with it being leather (i think) Sent from Rob's GalaxySII

  17. Ah, it is an American Fir, but there are planty American Fir species just as there are European Fir species:thumbup: Throw one my way then when you have a minute:biggrin:

  20. Sorry, my bad then:001_smile: But i have never known it as the american fir Abies procera 'Glauca' has no other synonyms than the Noble fir, so i apologise for that, I'm sure you'll get your own back:001_rolleyes:

  22. Its normal form is quite common in NW USA, more occasional in larger gardens here. it is an aristocratic tree:biggrin:

  24. Right Genus (and variety group) Tony, wrong species It is an Abies and it is a 'Glauca'
