  1. I use a good quality metal detector as a hobby,(great fun),and also it finds cables at up to 600mm depth, more or less. But a C.A.T. scanner is the norm.

    chipper

TW 125 is a good little chipper, just keep it's cutters sharp, and protect the ground from it's downward exhaust outlet!
  3. If you have work as a plumber,I would use that to fund my training. The sort of money you will earn as a new arb might not live up to expectations, and if you go it alone it is an expensive investment in kit/insurance&training,followed by a long learning curve. That is just my opinion!
  4. Muntjac dear will strip bark from trees, they can do a lot of dammage in short time. http://www.forestresearch.gov.uk/fr/INFD-6K4KAF
  5. One from today, posed as always!
  6. Paddy trod down agian on his shovel, & heaved the earth onto his mound. He found it easy going today, after all it was nice soft ground! He loved his shiny shovel, handle made of ash' he thought he hit a root until it broke free, it gave, sunk in then...FLASH! Thats how Paddy's shovel got so far up the tree
  7. :thumbup1:This is level headed advice,if things are a bit tight and financial/meteorological climates both, are in play,he may simply need to earn money to spend it,logsplitting is a long term investment so it wont pay the wages that week. Tough on you so talk to him.
  8. I like that, wouldn't put a mouth on it as it looks fine as it is!
  9. Delightful pics, thanks for showing them, very vibrant colours and exposure!

  11. Yes Liam,if you need one I would agree, but a copper telling you to prove you dont travel x miles from base is out of order, habeus corpus methinks!
  12. Inocent till proved guilty, tell him to stick his email and report him!
  13. Start with talking to danequipe mate ,they are good people, the backup service is the mutts orbs. That is my experience!
  14. Nice pic of the landy doing what nothing else can!
  15. on quote I always stipulate the job and removal of all arisings, which is what you would expect to atain.any deviation from that contract is for you to accept or not.
  16. Sorry to hear this mate, hope they didn't get your floats.nice quality reels gone there too.
  17. Same as! The amount of people passing through the doors of stove shops round here is impressive though, might buy some wood in to process on bad days.
  18. Get that round here a bit DD,I just stick to my price and let quality do the selling, mind you it isn't a living for me just a sideline.
  19. Been running mine with the power box for a year too,no worries so far!
