  3. Got mine through on Friday & wore it at work today when is has raining well happy with it.
  4. I used to run a 254 with a 13" bar when I was in the woods for thinings & found it great & lot more nippy.
  5. Old mill why not line clearance as they can climb just like any other persons . Ok utility climbers had bad press years ago but we are not all butchers who climb trees using spikes just to get spans cut.
  6. Hi what's the best replacement barrel & piston for a 254xp. Bought a saw with a new one fitted in November & the dealer said they've never had one go down but never said what make it was.
  7. Just use a fishermans, Looking at it it's only a 2 way action so it's not ACOP as it needs to be 3 way.
  8. The only thing with used boots are the memory liners are moulded to the purchasers feet.
  9. Husqvarna PS50 back in the 90's was a great piece of kit, Fibreglass telescopic shaft powered by a hydraulic power pack mounted on a harness on the back.
  10. Most harnesses have a 5 year life span.

  12. You could always get intouch with your local Badger group, A company I worked for had sites with badgers on & we got round it by having a badger group person monitor the work & make sure we didn't disturb the set.
  13. I have some air streams size 8 new laces needed got about 6 months left left in them £40,
  14. I've just bought a 254xp for £270 off eBay it had just been serviced with new carb kit & barrel/piston it cost the bloke £202 for the work. I've also got warranty for the work carried out so I think i got a great bargain,lol
  15. Yeah it should do, just remember to have a soft link between your harness & the Positioner incase of emergencies.
  16. Have search for Golight , The Mod use them, got one for my Ranger & just waiting for it to be fitted.
  17. I use one on a flip line & like it & yes they do make a cam for it, have alook at treekit they sell them.
  18. Is your sick pay SSP? As for traveling depends on your employment contracts, if your staff are employed from Say 0730 till 1700 from a yard then you can't get away with out paying them, that's my opinion.
  19. If you can afford it go for an Art Positioner you will never go back to a friction hitch.
  20. Why don't you just tie a fishermans?, As long as you have a tail as long as twice the dia you will be ok.
