  15. Feel like crap but to be honest it just feels like i have a bad chest infection which i suffer from every now & then but due to the questionaire on the website i have swine flu.lol I think they are just branding all symptoms as swine flu & i just hope that no one becomes seriously ill due to an illness thats not related to swine flu as they dont have your medical records so they aint got a clue what your history is.
  16. I hope they get better soon mate.
  17. I suffer from chest infections quite regulary & colds @ the same time so didnt think owt about it,only when i got to my sisters fro the weekend she made me do that quiz of symptoms on the website, wer all the questions could relate to previous medical conditions. The next thing i was giving a code for someone to go & pick up my course of Tamiflu. Damm & not long started a new job. Hope everybody who has it or been in contact with it gets well soon more so the young ones(my sister has 2)
  18. Also have a look at the jobcentreplus web site, click general then agriculture then forestry.Another one is Directgov.uk website just type in Forestry in all UK,Arborist in all UK & also TreeSurgeon in all UK. Hope this helps.
  19. Ron,You havnt said what part of the country your from?, I know alot of people dislike utility arb but at least you will be put through your tickets & get the experience of tree work(be it the dark side of tree work, lol). If your southern based get in touch with Scottish-Southern Electric as they are recruiting at present & it states no experience needed.the vacancy if advertised at http://www.trees.org.uk/classifieds & closing date is 24th july. Good luck
  20. Will,I was earning £320 a week before tax in 2003 & i had loads of experience & qualifications back then. Yeah you can earn alot more self employed but with can you guarentee enough work to keep you living comfortably? I hope you can & say good luck & take my hat of to you.
  21. £65 a day after tax for someone who has just left college with little experience is a good wage IMO.As that will be a take home pay of £325 a week, There are some jobs out there at present not even near that on top line. But as the lads have said go with your heart,I love doing proper arb but the wages arent that good at present hence why ive gone back to utility.
