  2. It's rare for the FC or Forestry England to have hand cutters. Some Timber contractors normally pay by the cube for felling etc but others may pay day rate if you are dealing with oversized or roadside trees.

  5. Been involved in Tree work be it forestry or Arboriculture since 1989. Due to health issues(After effects of cancer treatment & ligament damage) I've been unfit to work since December 16. Now I'm on the mend recovering from a shoulder operation I'm looking for new opportunities preferably off the tools. CV & Work History can be forwarded to any interested parties.   6. It's a figure of speach. Normal people are taxed anything between 0% & 20% when I lived there pending on family circumstances, then you have the "Goods & services tax" which is similar to our vat.

  14. It's so easy to remove from ground, I had one of the very first Ropeguides & have two in service at present. Great bits of kit.
  15. Have alook at the portable LED flood lights that they use on the railway, great light & not too heavy, or get a generator & flood lights.

  18. Windblown & Emergency tree work are two different qualifications. I did both last week with Acorn Rural Training based in Peterfield.
