brilliant saws, we run 2 pretty much everyday, maybe a bit big for the cs courses, but if its a bargin go for it!
  11. beat me to it, did a days planting on friday, bloody hard work as it was only my second time doing it, might be doing another one next week...
  12. i would probably still use it depending on the fall, if it was a bad fall i would use it on a tool strop or somthing like that
  13. in my old shed not only had padlocks on the door, but had a big old chain bolted to the floor and then put it through the handles of all my saws with another padlock on it, the way i see it if they broke in they would want to be out of there pretty sharp ish and that would slow them right down
  14. and that wont kill the re-sale value?
  15. a mate of mine had some of his nicked and some slackened by some ****** from down the road... could have ended badly
  16. Alright Guys, My college tutor has offered to sell me his old fairey pto winch cheap, as it will suit my requirments more than his, may even do a swap + a bit of cash for my electric winch. I know this would be much better for forestry than the electric winch, and have heard some great review about them. This winch doesnt come with the pto unit that bolts onto the transfer box, anyone know where i could get one? anyone have one cluttering there workshop they want to get rid of? And i have never used a landrover pto winch, so how do you go about using them and setting them up? If someone has one, i would love some pictures of the whole set up By the way i have a 1984 land rover 90, so it would need a pto unit for that gearbox not the series on im guessing. Any input would be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!
