  1. dunno about the granny in running shoes comment, maybe for a landy engine but people tune high miles Cummins quite alot with few failures. I've turned the pump up on mine, more pre boost fuel, #0 plate = full fuel through entire rev range with foot to the floor as the rack no longer touches the plate and star wheel adjustment changes reaction of pump to boost by changing spring tension, more fuel makes it smokey but goes well! Oh and boost turned up to 35psi. similar set ups dyno at 250-300 HP at wheels and 650 ft/lbs +. MPG has improved.
  2. does that go for all the vehicles, or this a joke?
  3. And how much does this service cost?
  4. well left it in the end, everyone hates on yellow pages on here, but everyone i know in it, including myself, finds it quite useful... my advertising with them has paid for itself alreayd and they've only taken one payment!
  5. So how have the steins turned out? Hav they broken in all right, durability? they look like a good boot as long as you can confirm they're nice and comfy once broken in.
  6. I just use a free sat nav app on my Iphone, works fine. Or google maps for places without postcodes.
  7. https://www.gustharts.com/Products/Pruning%20Tools/Cutting%20Edge%20Pruning%20Saws/ At about alf the price of the equivilent silky's and not looking too bad, do these cutting edge saws get the job done, has anyone used them? If they work alright seem like a good cheap alternative, it can;t be that hard to manufacture a decent pruning saw for a lower price so they might be alright:confused1:
  8. Motocross goggles, nothing will get through, and they're well vented so don't steam up easily and very comfy unlike 'safety' goggles. Oakley O frames are good and only about £20 a pair.
  9. How do you guys reckon she looks loaded? guess the weight, I did!
  10. I would have thought a another local STD code or a number with the STD code of where you wish to target would be more effective.
  11. Is this along te A267 near wadhurst and Frant on the right if headed towards Eastborne where they were resurfacing? I saw one just like it whilst for the convoy vehicle there, had one big failed limb and brash stacked next ot it just like that.
  12. Thats bad i leave diesel inthe bed of my truck quite alot even over night and its always been fine! you guys say they should of had it locked up. about amonth ago ona well travelled road near me i saw a TW190 at the isde of the road unlocked with no van or tree surgeons in site, and they weren;t turning around up the road or anything...as if that'd be acceptable, madness!
  13. Probably quite overweight, but i don't need you to tell me that. Its 3.5t so not as bad as this navara. I was just intersted to know if icould get away with less than my half lengthh roof and still load level back to 3/4 length or so without gradually fly tipping my load at 70mph.
  14. will only 10" of roof still stop stuff blowing out even if its level loaded to the back with chip?
  15. that is rather large! I just chucked alid otneh sides for my dodge but only went level with the roof,i might go to a foot or so over roof height if i think i need more room, but that is HOOOOGE! Be nice and easy to shoevl out though until you get a loadhandler.
  16. Where do you guys get your transfer box parts/where do you take htme for repairs and service? Google is useless!
  17. Any links for suppliers of the compressors for these?
  18. So its heavier and produces less power and slighty more powerful noise, but vibrates less. Doesn't seem like much progress to me
  19. the LEZ charge doesn;t come in until 2012 now 1st of jan I think. So just congestion chatge to worry about. If your L200 is less tyhan 4 years old (i think) or it may be 06 onwards it wont be affected anyway.
  20. it Wasn't Paul Barton who asked for th epolicy it was Treesnake, who was happy with it:001_huh:
  21. What sort of milage will be involved? Remember trailers are really cheap to hire so it can't be a huge amount, fuel+====== whatever yo want on top really.
  22. Jesus! If your serious, Where do you get your men from and can i have some?
  23. Pretty good, seems Kent and th eSouth east are going alright at the moment, I hope it continues because i'm spending relativley large amounts of money on kit:thumbup:
  24. interesting, my truck has rear leafs which they make kits to fit. I was considering just buying some 2" lift shackles and fitting them for th elevel look when loaded, hav you guys considered or tryed out using a simple body lift to cure your sag issues?
