  1. so the ldv with c/box staff & tools unladen is 2.5t thats jolly good. my daily comes in & just over 3t unladen

  4. that is an ellwell felling axe , they usally have a curved shaft for felling so all the blade comes in contact with the timber .the straite shaft is a late fitting probaly for splitting firewood
  5. thouhgt i would add this ,i recently priced to remove a s/b tree & stump ,me & the lad 1.1/2 max £150 lost job to ivgotacabstar so he starts him & 2 lads no chipper/ no grinder took them 4 hrs to complete the job .hes under cut me fair enough but how can he make that job pay, no ppe or signs !!! lets say he got £140 3,men half a day !!! thats why theres no chipper & no grinder & he costs him to tip it :confused1:done 4 small conifers & stumps on my own this afternoon & £150 thats just me & that took me an hr & a half

  15. thats the idle setting screw,the other 2,are high/low settings .normaly gently turn clock wise till they stop dont over do it ,then 1.full turn anti clock that should be close .do when the saw is warmed up they may need tweeking after woods
  16. yep got pretty good, but dress the metal shank with standard wheel to get the shape back then use the diemond wheel to dress the tungstun bit does that make sence
  17. no look in the engine you will cee a grey box un bolt it & open that up .
