  1. I will agree with you there Mark. There are bad eggs in both baskets. I'm no fan of HS2 either. Think that money could be better spent elsewhere.
  2. Not an expert, but the first picture is definitely the rectifier/regulator. Same as mine
  3. The police were onsite within 8 minutes. Not bad in my opinion. What does Corbyn want? Police on every street, in every town, 24 hours a day. Perhaps The shadow home secretary could come up with some figures as to how much this would cost?????
  4. From my own perspective, I looked forward every day to reading the new posts on that thread. I, for one am going to miss it.
  5. Sad week at our house. My dads border terrier had to be put down last week. 11 years old, she came to our house almost every night, and when they were away on holiday. Really going to miss you Dusty dog.
  6. A recent poll suggests that 13% of jews intend to vote for Corbyn. Given his track record on anti semitism I'm surprised it's that many.
  7. Its a direct drive from the winch to the saw. Mines about 7 years old. Do a search for lewis winch outboard drive. I'm sure they all fit regardless of age. There is also a youtube video of how to attach to saw. If your using an inboard clutch such as a 346xp,then you will need the chain drive. hope that helps.
  8. Mine runs on a 372xp with no drive chain.
  9. Depends on which clutch you have on your saw. With a inboard clutch, I don't think you need a drive chain. Could be wrong though
  10. Have you tried wj green? I bought mine from them.
  11. At last, we all agree on one thing. Stella sends you loopy
  12. Stella = mental juice. Can't get out of the bedroom door every time I drink the stuff
  13. if I'm right, it's only going to be introduced if Labour win the election. So, why worry about it.
  14. Corbyn and Abbott. I'd rather have Laurel and Hardy in charge of the country. Thank god they have no chance of being elected.
  15. Quite right, the media always print anything that suits their own political agenda. Reminds me of your Guardian post last night!!!
  16. Very, very sad news. RIP Dave.
  17. I take half a cetirizine every day. Just bite in half. If I don't take it, I itch all over like hell. Doctor did blood tests and were all normal. Loratadine of no use at all. I don't really like taking them all the time, but have no choice. Buy the cheap version's not branded. Save a small fortune, and probably made in the same factory.
  18. Don't worry Mick, it's not going to happen. At least in the near future.
  19. In the modern ere, what would happen if everyone was allowed to vote on the major issues which affect us? What I mean is, why can't there be numerous referendums each year, from how the budget is spent, to the number of police on duty, to the pension of public sector workers, to the amount of foreign aid. If you can vote for strictly come dancing, then surely, with a unique number such as your NI number, you could adapt this type of voting system to suit. Would this be the most democratic system in the world, or a recipe for disaster? Just wondering?
  20. Good results from lloyds today. Hope they keep it up, and the share price goes up.
  21. A pledge to be honest to themselves and those who elected them. That's never going to happen though. So i'd have to go with making a clean break from the EU. Or as I like and many others like to say: FU EU
  22. Keep meaning to get the detector out sometime. Really interesting hobby. Found a few hammered silver coins but no gold yet.
  23. I'm in a similar position myself. Got my son starting an apprentaship with me in early summer. Doing it through Myerscough College. Haven't talked about money yet, but I'd rather pay him a bit more as he's my son than pay it in tax. From your own perspective, I'd see how he goes on. If he's on time, hard working and willing to Learn, then perhaps he deserves a bit more than minimum wage.
