Police are appealing for witnesses after around 60 trees were felled and removed from a wooded area near sewage works in East Hartford, Cramlington. The illegal chopping happened sometime between June 28 and July 12. Two men, aged 27 and 17, have been arrested and released on bail.

  8. heating oil in a diesel engine??? i wouldnt.. i know of a lad that used it in his escort van for 4 months and it burnt his valves out... then he was told by a diesel fitter that heating oil burns alot hotter than diesel:sneaky2:

  14. mitre saws are a cheap way to reduce the size... would it not be cost effective to buy a second hand kindlet machine?? just a thought

  22. its quite hard work using these machines, as there none stop and quite noisy too.. iv 1 lad feeding the machine another filling the nets and another 1 putting the new nets on and tying the full nets/stacking.. there quite fast once you get going.. 100 nets and hour no good if only 1 person is doing the whole process..stopping and starting...

  25. i have a kindling machine... kindla by fuelwood... excellent bit of machinery.. cost a few bob... i wouldnt be putting off cuts into it .. its designed for round wood.. max 1ft diameter and 7" length as adamread said, go to fuelwood
