  5. yes but having 22k worth of wood and gear that you cant make a pennie from untill its seasoned is a big step.. (unless you loaded or won the lottery or other) if i was in your shoes id be buying the bigest tin shed from argos and start doing kiln dried logs.. your logs would dry very quick,, and youd proberly make more from them, thus making a profit:thumbup:
  6. but spending 22k on a new venture that you'd like to do.. thats some commitment.... best not to have your fingers in to many pies:blushing: and if customer relations are your thing would it not be best to sit in a nice warm office and have someone chopping your logs

  10. if i was you,, (quote)having a well paid job, with 2 other online businesses, that are going from strength to strength. id say:thefinger::thefinger:to the firewood side of things, and be spending more time with the family with 22k in your pocket.. id know where id rather be with my family and 22k and the pocket, and it wouldnt be cutting/splitting firewood to keep someone warm:001_ (stranger things have happend at sea) happy cutting
  11. it may be a good thing just selling hardwood logs but think of the posibilitys with softwood.. imagine if you only did one wood of the other,,, and a customer asks for softwood.. (sorry sir i dont sell it) thats all £££££ lost.. advisable not to burn your bridges at both ends... i think softwoods a good burner and seller... 1000 softwood nets a month going out + kindling, softwood cant be that bad.. just keep your options open:thumbup:
