  10. hi dean, dont want to deveate from your thread, if you love the landy so much wouldnt you be tempted to go for a good mog. i went down that route because i could never get rid of chip unless it was in a muddy corner of a field or horse arena. but i felt the landy tippers didnt hold much in the back.(not trying to sell my mog just curious)
  11. luckily no damage,just a bit of a dogs diner, he couldnt stitch it because there was nothing to get a grip of, i will take a photo tomorow of the wound.

  18. never used a big shot, but i know what a pain the throwline can be getting tangled on the ground, could the line go on a spinning real like on a rod??attached to the pole? has it been tried??just a suggestion, if it worked it would make life easier me thinks.
  19. if and when i do have a drink, yes it is magners. revolutionised cider drinking, i hate strongbow and can tolerate blackthorn, and if you went to a beer tent at a show it was usually lager which i cant touch. but everywhere has maggies/bulmers.

  21. i always found it really hard to talk about wages with the boss, i would wait till i got really wound up then go off in one and demand a higher wage. then i usually found myself another job. i get on great with all my x employers now, but it would of been so much easier if i had the guts to ask in the first place. save a fall out. but it looks like bbb has saved him the trouble.
  22. the trees in the 2nd and 3rd photos, i know them as zuchers(not sure of the spelling)i think there is a link with them and wellingtonias??cuts like oak.big old trees mate
  23. i would like to think you are right jason, a good lad getting looked after by a good guy. getting some experience and a few percs with the job too. not sure about lending him a quad though, i gave my last apprentice a go of my quad and he rolled it in the cylage pit doing donuts:sneaky2:

  25. i make myself read things twice now, and i read all my stuff 3 or 4 times before i submit it, there are dozens i have deleted after reading them again.
