  1. just get a bucket and a leaf blower dean, i call it the jobby wheaker.
  2. if i win the lottery i am going to build the garden from hell, fill it full of jaggy bushes, patios, greenhouses, and never clean up after my 8 great danes. nail gun the life out all the dead elms in the garden then get guys in to do the trees and bomb round the garden with my pet chimp in my 2 seater dune buggy:001_tongue:
  3. i used a big pto one once and it was great, when it worked. it chipped well but was too electronic for me, i like levers:001_smile:
  4. i know i can fit a serious amount of brash in my big trailer, especially conifer or spruce, just give it a good squeeze and push it down then i throw a ratchet strap over it, but when i am not on public roads then the skys the limit,anyone who started off without a chipper knows the art of filling a trailer,

  7. i used to go through 2 pairs of aquafell a year and 2 pairs of all round trousers,now i am old and wise. i have an 80 quid pair of elton boots, that i clean each night, a pair of wellies for splodging around the yard and a pair of riggers for around the yard when drier weather, my stretch airs are over 3 years old and i only wear them when climbing, i have front protestion 80 quiders for firewood and a boilersuit to keep everything clean (cold weather permitting) get a dehumidifier alternate the clothing and dont wash and tumble dry the life out your kit. please pm me for further money saving techniiques.
  8. if you could make them for the customer, then you will soon sell them plenty of logs. i would love to offer the whole package. from chimney check to instalation of log burner to firewood. not interested in doing it all myself, just getting the right tradesman lined up to offer the service.
  9. if the customer offers i usually except, but only if i am in the mood and there is time, nice reward when finished. as far as smoking, not my thing, cant be bothered with it. not in my vehicles,not in my yard, not around me.

  13. if its dry, i will be reducing a horrible dead tree over a garage and cutting hedges, wet, i have 2 lads splitting logs. but i want to try and get to the cinema with the wee man, a bit of father son stuff. oh and a piknmix the size of a florida pinyata. so hopefully it rains. failing that i will go with him on sunday.

  18. the chips need to be bigger to work properly, the size of small logs. and selling stuff to farmers!! good luck . but worth a try, i have a pile of chips that looks like soil. about 5 years old, it has crossed my mind to bag it and try and sell it.
  19. that looks more awesome than an awesome thing, i saw a 2 seater one the other day in a driveway. there is a place up here that does them for a couple of grand, but dont look as good as that one mate
  20. i was told that there wasnt much goodness in it. except it will hold moisture like peat.
  21. loch lomond then, too many idiots in speedboats and jetskis on that one, a shame. but all those islands would be great to explore.
