  1. i never realised that before steve, i knew they were only there sometimes, but i couldnt work out why, as usual it was the blatintly obvious. sorry mate
  2. i dont mind them, i think the pics are cool. not so sure about the 'teen chat' and the date stuff. i have bought stuff from honey brothers at the apf stand before and the guys are always cool, i like the big bald mean looking guy. is that you? he always says hi as if he knows me and has good banter when it comes to a bit of haggling with the tight jocks lol
  3. yea but nu but yea but i mean yeah but no oh whatever shut up!!!!!!!!!!
  4. just heard on the radio that there is a tree down closing a road and the snow is drifting. i think they said near the a1
  5. 3 point linkage, pto and room for the kids:001_smile:
  6. good luck justin, hope all goes well mate
  7. the sappier the better, love the smell. especially the big bubbles from silver firs. mmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!! great for removing unsightly neck hair.
  8. 90mins it is then mate. give me a shout if you fancy a run next week mate.
  9. you might as well, i lost 42k in 18months a few years ago chopping and changing cars.

  10. it must be heart wrenching nuggsy, you are obviously a good dad or you would of left by now. plenty do. Do what your heart feels is right. try and not let your feelings for the ex get in the way. it is always the kids that suffer. they are little sponges.
  11. that choice of words was just a lure mate, i knew i would catch you on that one. we actually have 1 lake up here lake of monteith. dont know why it got called that.
  12. get your self some headsets, and chase on the dreamy groundstaff. its a pitty you couldnt of felled them into the loch and winched them out. :001_smile:another good job mate
  13. cool new avatar, i spent my childhood out in the garden in my jammies hitting stuff with a stick.
  14. you can speed up training tenfold with them, no more standing around or dreaming. if something needs said you just say it, not let it piss you off for 30mins till you come out the tree and go ragey ragey.. if you ever want to try them out, take a run up mate. i think you are about 3hrs away.
  15. stump grinding is a good earner. its all down to the maintenance of the machine and the operator. spend time with a pick and keep it sharp. mr ed knows his stuff by the sound of it, if you 2 are close then you are onto a winner. 500quid. at least buy it and sell it again. if he is an old guy with a well looked after machine then he will have a good rep. i found the less complicated the machine the better. not a job i like doing but as things are quieter i am not as fussy. the going rate up here is 40quid a foot. but stumpbusters get cheaper the more you get them to do. our local guy will stick you on a half or day rate.
  16. not sure what make it is, i damaged the microphone cable so i gave it to someone to get fix, he stripped it and traced the parts. it is the same stuff the american swat teams use. it was 600 new. i got them for 350. built in to 2 helmets. but they are on the stihl hats which i dont like. i need to find someone who can swap the muffs to the petzl. worth every penny.no wasted time on a job. when you are up a tree you see everything before it happens. no more waving arms or waiting till someone looks up. even when you send a new boy to the mog to get something you can be round the other side of the house telling him what to do.
  17. dengie, just looked it up on google earth, that looks like pretty amazing farmland. i bet there are some good views there. i would love to head down that way and drive round the southern coast. once i convert the mog into a camper i will be jamming.
  18. too much money sitting in the yard not making money, that was my plan when i went down the valmet route, glad i downsized a few years ago. If it sells it sells. any luck with the merc?

  19. good job, thats a fair size tree your up there mate. its an ill wind they say,
