you are obvoiusly looking for way of life rather than being a millionaire mate, there is always work to be found. i am know where near as strong or a supple as i was 10 years ago, but i am older and wiser and dont waste as much energy as i used to. if your mrs is into gardening then i think you will find your niche in the domestic market, offering a very personal imaculate job. aim high. thats what my old cub leader said

hi dave, i dont know much about monolith stuff, i take it you are trying to prune a tree the way nature would, split branches, limbs etc. do you ever take a turfer instead of a saw. you could just rig the wire like a spider web then just get cranking and see what happens, would this be appropriate or is there more to it? -
i am off now to work on these limes in argyll, when i say work i mean top, but i know that is frowned upon by some and i have this dead elm to do on satuarday.

it might not be a tree but try messing with sea buckthorn, youch, if the 2 inch spines dont get you then the septic pusy wounds will, dont be drawn in by the orangey looking little berries.

if i am doing stuff with soft bark i always put in ' rip/tear cuts' thats what i call them, just in enough to cut the bark, saves it ripping down, wont mess up the hinge.

did you go to the midland game fair mick? we went to it after the apf on the sunday, you would of loved it mate. guns guns more guns then there were all the knives. oh and you cant forget the 2 buxom beauties riding bare back on the horses in wee knickers and crop tops.

if a tree officer had come from the tools then there wouldnt be any trees left me thinks, i only deal with one guy, and he is sound. knows sweet f all about trees its great. there has been a few beeches and oaks mysteriously come down with dutch elm disease lol. he is just there to keep the public happy and the paperwork in check.

sounds like a nice place mate, watch you dont snap some of those big ones, i would contact a log cabin company mate, there was a guy up north that built a monster cabin, then shipped it down south and rebuilt it. he would bite your hand off for them i would think. pm sylvestris stew(my bruv)he will get you his details. might be a lead you never know.
