  4. my first was a dihatsu fourtrack, and i bought the biggest cheapest trailer i could get. 16x6 car transporter, and put high siders on it. you could fit a silly amount of brash in it.

  10. i use the steel core strop when the tree allows, if i am working in around branches then i will use a rope one, it is easier to tie up out the way, but when working on a stem then i use the steel one.

  12. i started with an 026,088 and climbing bag, had a car and got insurance. that was it. insurance will be under a grang and you can direct debit monthly, so say 80 quid. thats all you need mate. when you get jobs with stuff to come off site, just price in a chipper, hire a pick up. easy peasy. the secret is finding a place for the arisings, then buy the kit to suit.

  15. working for big companies is usually pretty coushy compared to running your own business. do your job and take your wage, i always started earlier, worked harder,never moaned and did every hour i could without question. when i got to the stage i felt i could do it better myself, i did. my opinion on big companys soon changed.

  19. i saw one of those on an l2oo:scared1:it looked obscene, it works on a big american dodge but not on our wee 4x4s and they are about 15k me thinks, i wouldnt spend a money on either, b+b, pay some money get a hearty breakfast and a nice shower after a hard day.
