  2. I'm a bit late as it's done! Tbh I wouldn't of climbed it, if it blew down overnight and damaged the other tree, then it wouldn't be a problem. To me a job like that is damage limitation, human beings are more important than trees, so fell it and it the other tree took a hit, we'll hey ho! As for the climbers weight not affecting the tree, that's correct, but the tree isn't still standing because the 13 stone guy hasn't climbed it, it's because it hasn't finished what it's started doing:001_rolleyes: Now if i was getting £3k for climbing it, then it's turn off the brain and monkey monkey speedy Gonzalo's time:thumbup: Good job by the way:thumbup1:

  10. Welcome. Did you winterise it? Empty all fuels inc carb, clean it all underneath and grease all moving parts? At college we were shown to remove the plug and pull the chord until the piston was in a certain position. I've never done it since though:( Sounds like you have just woken her up after a long sleep in a cold shed, give the plug a clean, stick some fresh fuel in and give her a grease if need be.

  16. I would think the answer is you can't touch it because it's not your contract, probably you won't have the correct signs and traffic management etc. I have cut up loads of trees on back roads with the police there just to get home and they were glad I was doing it, 99% of human beings would raise a glass to your hard work but unfortunately the other 1% make all the noise and ruin I mean run the country:sneaky2:
  17. My Mog uses way less running a chipper on 1000 speed than doing road miles without a trailer.
