You just have to love idiots who smash bottles out in the woods. There's a fresh growth of wild garlic so she didn't stand a chance of seeing it:( I had to carry her back for 10 minutes while she bled like a stuck pig! She's now getting knocked out for a stitch up.

A sunny day last week, this was a horrible ash getting a mighty topping! It's nieghbour had snapped out demolishing a shed.

Another 1 of Kumba having a cuppa and sunbathing today. Managed to strip the border at the weekend, she looks like a pup again and a lot happier aswell

I removed 12 ugly old rhoddies a few weeks back and it was finally dry enough to get the roots out today:)

I use I good diesel mechanic, he had never worked on a Mog before, he's good and worked it out, also having a good working relationship with Alec Price is brilliant, many a time he has saved me hours and money by a simple text or chat about problems or concerns.

Great winches. Hook it onto something, flick the springy lever up and pull winch back, it will unravel. You can't slacken when under tension unless you have fingers like Wolverine. I've had a £20 version for over 10 years.

12 big armfuls of 10' branches equal 1 wheely bin load. Easy peasy

I've had a 46 hang off a bunjee strop for years and never had a problem with them breaking. Once I had to do a throw away quick , to catch something and the Caritool will snapped. On the making a weak point on a strop, do you guys do a practice run by cutting a certain amount and seeing how much takes to rip it? I've seen vans get pulled out of ditches with old tattered strops and they never snapped . That was always my concern.

I've climbed with an 88 many a time. Having a strop attached to it doesn't make it any lighter.

I think it's good for newbies, you must get into a good position, get your cuts right and no 1 handing. And you really learn to hang onto a saw. I lost a 26 twice, only damaged the nose on 1, it was a poor cut and if it was on a lanyard, my hip would of been a bit sore! I don't go in for all this little cuts on a strop so it rips out either! I wouldn't let newbies use a top handle saw until they proved competent with a heavier more clumbersome saw. Stop all this zoro action!

Man up and get a Mog, your older and wiser and will know what to look for and expect.
