    If TP still made the TP100 I'd say that as we've just rebuilt one and it's phenomenal. Well and truly outchips with 14hp the Jo Beau M500 with 24 horsepower ! No kidding. The latter is therefore yer best option.

    I'd go with that. Needing to hold an edge 10% longer isn't really an issue if you can go for days without blunting it... Last time I grew tired of sharpening and frustrated with chain life was when converting skidded timber; through mica enriched soil.

    Bad but Funny. Thieving is wrong, that's the obvious bit. Funny that they tried to pull it off old-school and had the guts to crack on with the plan. What would be brilliant would be if they could have used that nerve to achieve something constructive rather than destructive.

    ditto the Farma. Botex lift sure but wear out doing it rather quickly. Pure arb / hardwood crane; too sluggish, sloppy, imprecise and unrefined for forestry.
