  1. Think Riko might do one but anyone know of anything else worth considering? Think 2-3 tonne forwarding trailer but with electric tipping body... Thanks.
  2. Jo Beau; the original and best !
  3. Give people a break you heathen!!!
  4. It's in transit! When it lands at my door I think I'll collapse in relief and shock!... My only worry is that UK gasoline will wreck it...
  5. Got a '99 Stihl 036 and a 2008 Echo CS-600; both done at least 12000 (twelve thousand) hours each with no issues. The 036 has had a new starter rope, brake band, plug or two and a few b&c's. The Echo has had just b&c's. Draw your own conclusions.
  6. Damn!!! This always happens when you just found another ol beast! Can I join the Q for the 166 altho I think it belongs to Mr Dolmar!
  7. Sorry, I was a bit harsh back there. Apologies.
  8. Something along the lines of you charge 20% but only pay 10.5% to HMRC so keeping 9.5%. Downside is you can't claim anything under £2k back...
  9. £1 million turnover and £990,000 cost of sales vs £50,000 turnover and £15,000 cost of sales Hmmm. Turnover and profit are distant relatives imo...
  10. Just ace that is
  11. See the ones is Richards link; fantastic price but they have the infamous rubber tread pattern (see image below) like those orange ones they sell in Builders merchants; they don't grip through oil at all and are heavy due to the rubber.
  12. Hi mate, I clocked them yes but I'm loathe to pay over a £1 more per pair!
  13. Edit; if I simply can't get the North at the right price, I might give them a go as the price is right and they do like mighty similar...
  14. Thanks, but I'm 100% NOT interested in anything else. Please keep this thread free of other suggested gloves! Been there, done it lol.
  15. Wow, forgot about this quality ol' thread... Watch this space: old habits die hard and I look at those pics of classic saws I had - and only one thought - should still have! So I'm taking action... and I'm pretty chuffed about it... like I said... something's coming!...
  16. Yes! The 550 is a bloated overweight down-tuned, down cubic-inched 620; pointless saw imo. Just get a 620 or indeed the 501 which is zippy and light.
  17. likewise; some co on ebay was selling it...
  18. Bugger, can't make it. I saw the sign for it when I drove past the other day... A mate of mine is going hopefully...
  19. https://www.snssafety.co.uk/product_info.php/honeywell-northflex-oil-grip-glove-4501517-p-286236?gclid=CO3Bo4Ph8coCFQmNGwod8dgApg&osCsid=5d9ee976880380d88883b1396122890f IMO the ultimate grip and dexterity glove for the forestry work I do including handling timber, forest machine maintenance etc. Superb glove; does what it says - handles grease and oil and thus mud and algae marvellously. I used to buy in bulk at Cromwell but they've stopped doing them. I paid £2.25/pair plus vat for 12 pairs but bought 3 packs at a time i.e. 36 pairs hence the price (I assume) and got through approx. 100 pairs a year; that's including supplying them to colleagues. They last pretty well handling dry timber. Anyone on here want to stock them? I'll buy approx. 100 pairs / year... assuming you make money and I can get a long-term deal. Thanks. Size 9; tight at first but then a snug fit for size 10 hands. There are subtle variations to the North Oil Grip; it's the one in the pic it has to be.
  20. Probably. But at least you could neuter it and re-tune
  21. Anyone got a 501esx yet? Hope a good saw yes no thanks all nice one there hi all thanks jon:sneaky2::sneaky2:
