  4. Asking this question on behalf of the boss, we are running one of these, and its a bloody good saw! It came with a 20" bar but hes wanting the biggest bar he can for it so this saws full potential can be acheived So.... Whats the biggest bar this saw will take? Where can he get one from? Cheers
  5. Makita 7900, top saw and cheap! But if you want to stick with more known brands and you have that much to spend id say get a ms460.

  8. Hoping you can help me here guys and girls, becasue of a lack of tree work i have looked into getting a second job behind the bar of the local pub on evenings and weekends. They are wanting to see a CV so for the first time im going to have to write one, now not having a clue were to start im hoping you guys can give me some tips and point me in the right direction Thanks, Tom

  12. Stihl for me, personally ive always had trouble with husqvarna so stick with stihl But just to throw the spanners in the works, im liking makita atm also. lol
  13. Ive got no seasoned stuff left, sold it all!. "make hay whilst the sunshines" as they say. Its not my main income so i dont mind, il have some ready for next year though and dunno what il charge, il make that decision closer to the time.

  15. Nice pic, we had weather like that to today. Sun, rain, wind, hail, thunder. Typically the hail came when i was up a lombardy pop lol
  16. Water and fry up, although saying that i had a hangover this morning and went to ride my motocross bike about, that soon cleared it surprisingly lol
  17. Nope, i did mine week before or the week after the openday i cant remember lol
  18. Hand held step cut, free fall step cut, hand held sink cut, free fall sink cut, then a natural target pruning cut to finish. Thats what i had to do, and had to demonstrate each cut twice. I the only thing that caught me out was when i warmed up the 020 on the ground for my mate who was in the tree i didnt use gloves, the assesor soon picked me up on that. Good luck mate

  22. its good they got you to clear the way first, most company's like that i know would just clear the way with there digger bucket lol

  24. well i get £50 and dont complain id rather have that than nothing, plus my pays always being revised as i improve and stuff...
