  22. When i started college 2years ago we didnt have any sort of fitness test but after a few people on the course really struggled with climbing, we suggested to the tutor about doing a "climbing assesment" when they come into college to attend there student interview. They took this on board and have now started doing it. The tutors, or a older student someone like myself places a rope in the top of a 20m lime tree and then they are told to climb to the top and come back down, if you can do it and your interview goes well your on the course. If you cant climb it then they seriously consider not letting you on the course... simples
  23. Now usually im not a fan of these types of programmes, x factor, big brother and tv shows like that, but theres just something about britains got talent! Anyone else on here watch it? I mean i dont vote or anything but i think it just makes great family viewing.

  25. Just poped out and had a quick measure up for you. A rough mesurment is 20ft long, and just over 30inch in diameter. Its still lying where it was felled atm as you can see, but getting it to a hard standing is not going to be a problem, and i also have acsess to a forklift once the timbers on solid ground. Dunno if its of any use to you mate?
