  3. Il second that, been using cooper stt tyres on my landrover and they are just as good off road as the bfg mud terrains but they seem to be wearing rather quickly. When compared to my mates bfg mud terrains of the same size his are out lasting mine by a long shot, i will fork out and get mud terrains next time. They have a new tred pattern out aswell which is meant to be even better that the old one!
  4. Yh i know what you mean mate, tbh im happy there. I climb more and more than him these days and am working to try and make the job safer. He has new friction cord but preferes to use his old stuff most the time? Will try and perswade him to buy the new lowering device by reg coates, not sure if you've seen it? Also some new lowering rope, and as im doing more of the climbing hopefully it will be looked after abit better
  5. I know what you mean mate, as both a climber and groundie i would prefere to have it run through pulleys and rigging blocks all the time. But my boss is abit old school to say the least, using old glazed lowering ropes and he climbs on friction cord which is 9years old Ohwell im trying to show him the error of his ways over time lol
  6. Would only ever do that on take downs personally.
  7. You wanna get some of those lithuim ones.

  14. Would love the chance to operate one of those! Anyone know what route you should go down to operate one? Start as a feller with just you and a saw, then work your way up?
  15. Older landrovers almost always had white roofs. TD5's though often have matching colours on roof and body. I think lol
