  1. A knowledge in what equipment is required to get going would be a start! Surely we are telling you how to suck eggs if you are even contemplating going s/e? .....saw, climbing equip, somthing to transport them in...
  2. There is more than 3 lorries but not enough for a rolling floor artic Matt.
  3. AHS have looked at it and think this is only 13-15tonne therefore would need to double the amount to collect. Can you tip double the amount there by thursday next week?
  4. I think they return to school on the friday, I should have it moved on Wed/Thurs. Do you need the Timber removing?
  5. Where in the school is it and how quickly does it need removing? What chip is it?
  6. Can we get access for AHS - if the load is made up I will load with our telehandler?
  7. We have an SP4012D which is a great machine can go through approx 35" without the front wheels on so handy for back garden jobs, its good to have the remote so you can see what your grinding! Stump Grinding

  9. Cut it flush to the ground then buy half a tonne of topsoil for £10 and raise the ground level!!
  10. This appears to be a very grey area and even the guys at Geosynthetics do not have the definitive answer! All of the installations we have done have been edged with a wooden gravel board and stakes. If you give Geo a call and speak to Roy he should give you a better site specific solution.

  12. CHAS and constructionline are best completed together - much of the same and saves a heap of time.
  13. Dont forget that if you are CHAS approved you dont need to complete the health and safety section of Constuctionline!
  14. We have had it for around 12 months, not sure if it has brought much work through the door but it ticks the right boxes on the PQQ's.
  15. dont miss that at all guys, glad the office is not in the house anymore - although if I'm in there late or at the weekend I still get calls expecting you to be there, like tree surgeons have 24hour call centres!!

  21. I was on another job but would have loved to have seen his face!!
  22. I quoted a landscaping job for a client who wanted some turf doing and she asked if we could send some pictures of finished turfing jobs we had done. Which we did, she called a few days later to accept and chose "the turf that comes with stipes on it from the picture" we had a bit of a joke and explained that turf doesnt come with stripes its the rolls laid in different direction etc, etc. We arrived to fit the turf today and while having a cup of tea with the customer my brother proceded to tell the story of this stupid woman that had called up last week and requested "the stripey turf"........ Luckily she saw the funny side of it !! I'm sure you guys have a few similar tales....?
