  1. Tbh the idea of a house had'nt really entered my head, I'm just thinking about an easier work life in a few years time.
  2. I'd have to have it all above board Ed, which would'nt be that difficult round here. Planning would be a doddle I reckon considering the amount of travellers that have bought land and settled around here. Hmmmm, good point about the house! First thing I'd do is get a postcode.
  3. I've had an idea in my head for a while now and it goes like this. I know of a piece of land near me for sale, its about 15 acres and grade one agricultural. Obviously I'd check with the council as to change of use etc. Then I buy it and turn it into a woodyard for bonafide tradesmen to tip chip and wood for a fee. I trundle around in a tractor tidying up or split wood to sell on. I would carry on my present business for a while until hopefully one day I could get away from the usual crud that goes with the job. Truth is I aint getting no younger and I'm long overdue an easier life. I know there's enough arbs around my area plus if it were well advertised then arbs from other area's could tip when working nearby. So my question is am I looking at this idea through rose tinted glasses or do you think it could work? Mick.
  4. Excuse my ignorance, what is it?
  5. Second that mate, I will definetly make more effort next year to attend more shows. Fair play to you for all the miles you put in.
  6. LOL, I aint got a memory card. Heres the other four. Checkout Dean getting his weeny out,
  7. Rich Rules mate Stu, who did a bloody time in the comp btw filmed Mark puking.
  8. Hahahaha, oh well you can't help bad luck. I'd shake his hand if I saw him tomorrow.
  9. I was totally gutted with my time of 9.19 with a minute of penalties added on for visor flipping up a few times and missing the lz. Pointers for next time will be 1 wear glasses and 2 throw away my prussik slings and get used to a vt. Still a good experience though. Thanks to Nick and Justin and hats off to everyone especially Mark Bolam for having a go after such a heavy night and Stevie for leaping straight into it after a long day. And not forgetting Dean, jesus you can move quick for a big bloke. I reckon Steve and Rich should be C.E marked 'Fit for climbing'.
  10. I was sentenced in 82 for a 6 month stretch. One thing led to another and now I'm doing life with no sign of parole on the horizon.
  11. You naughty minx you. I was like a moth to a flame LOL.
  12. Check out your title Phenom hahaha
  13. Whats that love ? The wifes shouting from the conservatory "KWIK CHIP"
  14. How big are the stumps ? If they aint big you could try this, I've done it loads of times. Dig a small trench all the way around the stump being careful not to disturb the bark. Then take the bark off with a penknife without getting any soil on the wood. Your now ready to sink the saw in ten inches below ground level without ruining the chain. It's really easy to do except on shallow rooted conifers. For connies I dig around to expose the big roots, axe em through, then so long as you have an anchor point and have left them tall they pop out with a Tirfor. Lol you can probably tell I dont have a grinder. Anything too big I sub out.
  15. Nice view tommer. For a moment there I thought that nick was self inflicted to get out of the comp.
  16. I have both, smiley Tranny and 2 seater l200. I bought the Tranny this year after being sick to death of shovelling off chip. To be honest the l200 hardly gets driven anymore because the tranny is much more comfy and cheaper on fuel. The plus side of the l200 is that it looks nice, has a nice smooth engine compared to the tranny, is way quicker and of course 4x4. If I had to get rid of one it would be the l200.
  17. Get yourself down to Jonesies show then:001_smile:.
  18. Tom, I'll give ya £50 not to employ him. Keep the hypo squirell rusty or he'll thrash me.
  19. PM me an address Spike and I'll send a tenner recorded delivery the same as I did for Mister Tee's marathon run.
  20. One banana after 20 miles out and eaten on the move (cycling).
  21. Okay Ed will do. I'm not really into classical anyway. I was just trying to keep the thread going while you was in your sulky period.
  22. Jesus wept, what a load of old pony those last three are.
  23. Fair play for posting to start with and secondly dont worry about the english experts on here, half of them dont know their backside from their elbow anyway. I understood what you were saying.
