  10. That welding is so old hat now and yes ugly. Anyhow I was'nt referring to the welding just that 3 way crossover that's exclusive to GT.
  11. You're better off going off road and staying away from cars tbh. There was no such thing as mountain bikes when I started cycling and as a result I'm addicted to the road. I've been shot at, had someone try to slash my face with a knife and countless rows with drivers, I even had a near confrontation last Wednesday when someone pulled into a bus stop and jumped out of his motor. I blew him a kiss as I freewheeled by and he caught me at the next lights, funny thing is though this time he stayed in his motor
  12. Yeah I've tried to give it up a few times over the years, but alas I'm addicted. Still going okay taking age into account haha.
  13. You'd be better off with a decent pair of cycling shorts because they have the chamois insert for comfort, then a top with rear pockets for carrying keys, money etc. But whatever you decide to wear make sure you invest in a helmet.
  14. Cos GT are ugly with their 3 way crossover. Personally I see nothing wrong with Halfords Boardman range of bikes, but if money is'nt much of an issue I,d buy Scott.
  15. Brilliant! I like that bobby. A little bobby dazzler, can you top that with the next though?

  18. Thats a brilliant idea. I did 28 days in Colchester when it was the old nissen huts Nov 81. One hut was a dedicated drying room with a coal burner in the middle, worked a treat.
