  1. Bekesbourne Canterbury. That silverback was laying down all morning just watching what was going on and quite content, then a group of noisey people came round and he went berserk in a flash, charging up and down for a second or ten. It happened so quick. A truly awesome spectacle.......
  2. A few more, this female gave me the stick to start with when she saw me eating a banana. The idea being that you put a piece on the end and give it back lol.
  3. We sat and watched these for about four hrs today, amazing beasts and so comical at times. I picked up a few climbing tips aswell so I'm gonna put the receipt through the books. Truly awesome and a little emotional at the same time. Such a crying shame to see such beasts locked up probably forever........Mind you having said that I would'nt mind a gorilla hand ash tray.:laugh:Only kiddin, dont dive on my case fella's.
  4. . Cheers joe, I dont try to be but I'm guessing I get it from my mum's side. During the war she was kicked out of the SS for being just a tad too spiteful............Nick, I reckon they would have been better off made as goblets.

  15. Of course I have all the answers. I've been doing this job since 82 and working for myself since 94 if I remember rightly. I reckon I know my job pretty well tbh and certainly know what I can and cannot charge in my area. I must be doing something right on account of having a weeks holiday next week then four weeks work booked in.

  24. I always charge a lower rate for hedge trimming. I know its still a skillful and demanding job to do it right but imo its nowhere near as dangerous.
  25. I have a 24hp honda on my chipper and reckon its gonna go forever. Wish I could say the same for my log splitter engine, an eight of a horse power v twin upper body engine with an axe at the end of it, starting to show signs of giving up.........Honda all the way for me, unbeatable.
