  6. If you ve got enough space drill a small hole in the bolt head and use stud extractors . You could always get an old small tight fitting socket and fill with weld . But dont forget to leave enough space to put rachet in . Hope it makes sense .

  12. We put some willows on an eroding bankside caused by a fast flowing river about 5yrs ago . The customer has just cut them back and just stuck the cuttings in the soil further along the bank . All seem to be doing well and the erosion has slowed .
  13. Well been to work today with the saw . Its done a whole day good on fuel and plenty o power . Ticksover mint . I am enjoying the change . The balance is good .

  15. Hello Jonesie just to let you know the solo saw came today . Ive put some pics up on the original tread/post ( Top handle climbig saw whatever ) . I,ll keep you posted on how the saw runs . Ive got two lovely old dirty pops for it tomorrow .

  16. Well if you had the job would of been done in 2hrs We had a subbie groundie in about two years ago when he tied the saw on halfway up the tree it magically un did itself . The bar buried in the soil and no damage was done . We asked him who trained him Paul fookin daniels
  17. Regular contacts yeah your better off looking after them . I,m sure ben did an induction for the felling job . I havent worked with him for 2/3 weeks . Although he is going back to the America in the spring , lucky mong:thumbup:
  18. Makes sense . Shouting and yelling on site does look bad . Our work site is usually chilled but we seem to be infected by chinese wispers . Go and get the rake suddenly is read as have a break .

  23. Well shes arrived . That is the Solo saw of course in a lovely red box . Anyway as said came with 2 chains and a 14" bar. Little tool kit and plug spanner screwdriver and nice manual . I put her together and she went second pull . Ticks over lovely has oooddles of power. Shes got her first day tomorrow dirty old pops . Only down fall is where you attach your strop tis a bit o plastic and thin to boot .
