  1. Yeah Ive mulled this over time and time again . Ive got one ms200t and an older 020 which is much fitter and more reliable . The Solo seems to be a bit plastic regarding the covers . Most guys now clip the saws up when not in use so that will help a tad . The husky saws I,m always smashing the exhaust covers . I have it on good authority that these saws are top notch . Parts well thats to be seen . Although the company I,m buying off have assured me that spares are 24 / 48 hrs away . Stihl £ 550 Plus ? and the Solo £ 349.49 with spare chain . Stihl ms200t are know way as reliable as the old 020 . Times are changing so am I . I do love my 88 64 tho . I,m talking saws for the climber Stihl have had the monopoly for years . I,m just not happy with them or huskys top handle .
  2. Jonesie Nee bother I have a german arborist friend who loves them ? More than Stihl ? He is LA though but that shouldnt make difference . Should it ?.Oh he lives near the Bohemian Forest in a town called Passau which borders the Czech Republic . Anyway the answer to the other question is ( Abbey garden ) Just type into a search engine Solo chainsaw and check out the 637 . Its 40cc and supposed to be more powerful than the stock 020 ? . Although its a tad heavier . Oh and it comes with a free chain 14 " . Excited
  3. Well Ive had numerous stihl 020 sorry ms200t for you young uns . And many a 335/ 338 huskys . So now I,m up for a change and the winner is Solo 637 . This little monkey will be with me in about 10 days . So your opinions would be grateful . Be gentle as the saws on the way Will post pics and info when its been put through its paces .
