1. 01443 710313. Number for STS. Have a friend who works for them and he enjoys it.
2. Have seen a vid on youtube about this. Is a bit fiddily to set up but find that you need to have the leg loops lose enough to slide off when done up but tight enough so you can't put it on like that....If that makes sense
3. Hi girls and gals. Was wondering if anybody knows of a uk stockist for arbpro gear. Have heard they do a set of trousers as well as helmet, boots, rigging gear. Any help appreciated.
4. Worked Friday and yesterday, off today and working Monday. So much for bank holiday lol
5. All depending on your helmet of course but could go down the visor route instead of using glasses.
6. Have a set of the nexus safety glasses. Top notch and have never misted up even wearing them in heavy rain and wind. Yellow lenses are fine in this light but may switch to the clear in the summer. Arms are movable as well so will fit pretty much everyone
7. As a local authority employee we have to fill out a weekly inspection records. Get a headache off our supervisor if we don't fill it out promptly. In regards to length of service life etc, as far as I am aware it is Ten years shelf life from date of manafacture then has to be discarded or 5 years service life whichever comes first. So if for example a harness has been on the shelf for 6 years then it could only be in service for 4 years(as long as it passes regular Loler testing.)
8. I have one. If my thinking is correct the fmblsaver has less friction than the multisave but slightly more than the pulleysaver. Worth the dosh if you ask me
9. Always meant to pop in there but never seem to have time when I get up that neck of the woods:sad: will have to make a point of going sooner rather than later. Agreed 180 is quite a bit but am hoping they will be worth it.
10. Don't think they are waterproof at all but usually wear wet gear over hiflex when it's bad enough to warrent a council bod getting wet anyhow. These should be a lot cooler in said situation. After weeks of diliberation have decided to bite the bullet and order a pair tonight. Only time will tell
11. Sounds good about the central meet up and can see the sense in waiting until more peeps are available. Like everyone is saying, the more the merrier. Keep us posted on datesand locations.
12. Am using a pair of Rossignol summits I picked on ebay dirt cheap. Fab boots with bags of support, stiff though and like all hard compound soles is like walking on glass when in the wet. On another note would deffinatly recommend the pfanner function laces. Sounds like a fad but they really do work!
13. Aye I'm in as long as the mrs lets me out of the house......May have to bribe her with flowers:thumbup:
14. Stretching is pretty much to do with customisation,as in the way that tattoos and piercings are. There are so many diffirent options available. All diffirent shapes, colours, materials etc. Can get nearly anything you desire lol. I clean mine normally around every other day and I wear silicone which for me is the best. Have tried all sorts and find that they smell less, easy to clean, squidy so do not dig in under ear defenders too. As in regards to the actual stretching you need to go slow. Did mine at around 1mm a month just to give them time to heal before moving on. If you are in a rush though some studios will "scalpel" them in for you. A few friends of mine have had this done. Basically cut the flesh away and fit tunnels. Scary though. God,wear to begin with the tattoos. Have gone through periods of having a lot of work done then a time with nothing. Think I am around between 80-100 hours. Lost track long ago, that is over around 12 years though. Still have work yet to complete so who knows where it will stop.
15. Like this thread. have seen something similar on treehouse a few years ago and some really nice ink on display on both sites. have lots of ink myself-both arms sleeved, back piece, bits on my legs, stomach and chest piece, some on my neck and hands done aswell. still waiting to get something arb related though but do have something planned:thumbup1: As with some of the other guys on this thread have tunnels too, were at 26 but down sized to 20mm so they would fit under ear defenders lol. Had lots of piercings in the past but just have tunnels and my septum still done atm.
16.
Hiah dude. Where abouts in south Wales are you based? Have you managed to get your cs38 yet?

17. Was wondering if anybody knows of someone selling a Treemotion? Any help appreciated
18. Hiah mate gimme a ring on 07775607759. Might have an oppertunity for you. Scott
19. How far you willing to travel? Arb show maybe? We have a treemagic and treemotion in use on the team at the moment. Am sure you could come and have a swing in those if you want?
20. If you live near a store. Try the range of isocool shirts from moutain hardware. Top bannana.
21. Try doing it with an overweight beagle.
22. Good bits of kit but rather costly. Get friendly with someone who can splice:thumbup:
23. Just tie a loop of throwline to a throwbag then larks foot that through the eye of your mainline. Either that or take a small pouch up with a throwline/bag combo up with you
24. Looking on treetools think he suffered a broken coccyx. Hope he gets better soon.
25. Bit of a query I could do with a little help with. After climbing on a tree motion for awhile. Changed jobs and have been provided with a new harness, edelrid tree magic. Stupidly have lost the user instructions. Have been challenged on using the metal bridge attachment points when climbing/chogging down, wether they are rated for this or only for the webbing to run through. Any help greatfully recived
