  1. I think the older ones are alot more comfy then the newer ones IMO. Seats just seem to welcome your backside abit more
  2. The old shape transits are tough work horses through and through. I personally would buy a decent old one. Saying that the new transits are great aswell. Can be abit tempermental when it comes to the electrics though.
  3. Evening people. Need to upgrade my rope, the marlow gecko has served me well but its time for something abit better. I also need to change the cam on my positioner so nows a good time to find out what size rope and what rope works best with it. cheers
  4. I think youd need to put a few saturdays in to afford one of those!!
  5. I think if ever you was going to get attacked in your sleep by a poltergeist it would be while sleeping in that bed.
  6. I dont like the colour id paint it all magnolia personally!
  7. That bed is kinda creepy.. . .
  8. Did my climbing tickets at kingswood training. Definitly recomend it had a great time.
  9. Already have the swivel on there, its definitly the way to go. Just another thing that makes the art top notch!
  10. OK sounds like I need to give tree worker a call then. Cheers everyone
  11. Can that be brought separately aswell?
  12. I do a fair bit of work for myself so your assumptions are absolutely spot on mick
  13. Cheers for that, Is it the bush that needs replacing do you know?
  14. Just wonderd what I need to replace to get it back to its hard biting prime? It would probably be ok on a lighter rope but my marlow gecko seems to get heavier by the day?!
  15. That lampost looks really odd in that picture. You didant paste it in the pic before posting to make it look more tricky then it really was did you?! Nice job on those!!
  16. Bad news mate hope you recover from it. I think the closer you can keep your gear to your house the better. Not always feasible i know. The more public the place the better aswell so then things like alarms may be enough to scare the so and so`s off.
  17. Stretch airs IMO are the best out there. Nothing even comes close. Stihl hi-flex are good but maybe a bit skin tight??? Oh and they always rough your hands up when you try and get your phone out yer pocket cos the velcro is in a funny place?? just my thoughts.
  18. If the customer actually wants it removed i would not talk them out of it, it just wouldnt make sense IMO. A dangerous tree should be cut down and then replant with a nice healthy no risk tree if thats what they want.
  19. Im not saying anyone has it was just my choice of wording to say that he has been honest!
  20. Either that or just keep using it. Keep sliding the old prussic over it or the rope grab it soon cleans itself!
  21. I can understand what tree world is after. He hasnt been dishonest and has stated everything that is a requirement. Its upto someone to read it and decide if its a work opportunity for them or not. There are no rules to business do it however you want. Some people do everything themselves and some people sub contract away every last bit of work. Fair play to both types we are all just trying to make a good living at the end of the day.
  22. Is that for chippings? If so thats what I pay aswell.
  23. Typical that, totaly give up looking for em then they just appear out of nowhere.
  24. I dont buy any fire wood so Im not sure how much people are asking for it at the mo. I have known full transits to be sold un-cut and split for £60.00. Other people give the wood away for nothing to somenone who collects it so it varys. I think it would be tough too make that much from the wood and chippings alone as I think the good wood will go elsewhere. Unless your thinking about paying for the wood to encourage people to give it to you?
  25. 60 foot metasequioas!! Bet that takes abit of planting!!
