  1. 'Can you reach the top of my bush with your long thing?' is a particularly happy memory of mine. Fit cougar as well.
  2. Jesus! I had no idea she used to be fit!
  3. Oooooohhhhhhh Nigel, you're such a tease!
  4. Any approx idea of cost would be great. More than a filing kit, less than a saw?
  5. No no no no no no no no ! For God's sake don't give the banks even more money! Cash with receipt or bank transfer on completion, agreed before you start. As Stevie says, gets rid of the messers straight away - bonus!
  6. Cracking Reg! I've experimented with wheelbarrows and sack barrows over the years, but they have never ticked all the boxes like this does. Can't wait. If it is half as good as my RC2000 it will be very good indeed.
  7. Have a good night. Sorry I had to leave at 4.20.
  8. Just got back from the Weald Woodfair, where Rich won the climbing comp in impressive style, adding a gleaming MS200T to his collection in the process. Rich has been suffering for the last few days with a really heavy cold or some lergy, and pretty much had to climb as soon as he rocked up, so some of my Northumbrian hardness must have rubbed off on him. I would have won the comp myself, but the first 20' was a compulsory footlock, which I can't do because I own a 20' ladder. Doh! Credit to Dan Mac for having a go, with zero footlocking experience! Well done Biggun.
  9. Ditto. Bit worrying, really. My Craghoppers have offered some excellent protection this summer, though. Wearing them always reminds me not to hit my legs with my chainsaw....
  10. Been great for me. Very hard wearing after years of abuse. Only retiring it because I want to try Imori, and 25m is too short (groundie accident, banished him to NZ). And it will make a great 25m speedline...

    Heights...

We were meant to double lanyard (ie snap on, advance, snap on, snap off, advance etc.) on comms towers, but in reality that just kills your forearms and wrists, so you only strop on for a break. You would not even think about falling off a fixed 20' ladder whilst climbing it, would you? It's all in the MIND! That said, FTFAGOS!
  12. Weird how this crops up on the 200 more than other saws? Experience conquers the problem. No more sticky pants for me. Not from oil, anyway.
  13. If I ended up the human equivalent of a Beech with Merip, I would be most grateful if someone would be kind enough to shoot me, rather than cutting my arms and legs off.
  14. Decent one piece bar cover for bigger saws, maybe in a light ali. Have spoken to Stihl about this, and they don't see there is a problem. In trying to protect a £1000 saw with a two-piece pile of plastic crap which nearly slices your fingers open whenever it falls apart? Come on.....
  15. I would definately consider that on the right job Mick. That's 6 loads in my Tranny!
  16. You've yet to comment on any of my vids, mate.
  17. Dunno, but looks reet strong. Go for it.
  18. Thats what I used to do when I was in telecomms. Strop outside, never in. (I didn't make the rules, potential 15m drops etc. Highest I went was 110m, though.
  19. Most tree trucks I see are overloaded, and a lot of them are doing veg clearance stuff for highways! I can overload my Transit in less than half an hour with my diddy little TW125. Might get a bigger chipper so I can get pulled earlier! Mind you, the dids round here seem to be able to run around with an 8' high stack of scrap on their vehicles with no worries....
  20. Sprint version. Faster, but not as well made, and temperamental. Also needs more fuel.[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-yAqvoRDWU]YouTube - Human processor2[/ame]
