I do get your sentiment Alex, and if I was doing big stuff all the time I’d be very interested in the AWAH. It’s different for contract climbers than for the mainly domestic smaller stuff I do, busy conifers and suchlike.

They are about £1500. So it’s a great idea, but I’m out.

Asparagus wrapped in Parma ham again, a la Peds this time, although I didn’t peel the stalks. Par boiling them first was a definite improvement. Chicken Shawarma to follow, garnished with garlic sauce and fresh parsley.

There’s always a lot of Lynx released after Christmas. People have to get rid of those gift sets somehow.

All trac tyres/wheels arrive next Tuesday. On the impact wrench front I bought some impact sockets and extensions before Christmas. Weirdly my bog standard Makita drill managed to bust a few of the wheel nuts my mates impact wrench wouldn’t, so I’ll just use that, and save a few quid. I’ll nip them up by hand, I’ve got a ‘feel’ for what they were initially torqued to. In the absence of any reply from Cast, or available information.
